I came across this pin today for the first time....It just creeps me out...I don't get it...Reminds me of the clown doll in Poltergeist

I don't find it weird or creepy. I just find it incredibly ugly. I think Dopey is one of the most ugly and unappealing Disney characters ever made. Lol, and I know that there will be a lot of people upset by that, but it's just my opinion. :) I'm sure there's people who don't like some of my fave characters.
 
I was looking at that pin on Friday and also debated over whether it was cute or not. I decided it was not cute and indeed, a little creepy. Clown doll from Poltergeist! LOL!!!
 
I just realized while reading this post that in this generation with the polictically/socially correct activist in our society, there would probably be no dwarf named "Dopey" allowed. I wonder what his name would be if he were just starting today?...maybe Bubba, Bub, Brother, MC or something else a little less degrading than being called Dopey - especially with him being mentally challenged and mute (not sure if he's deaf or not). I'm kind of surprised that no one has ever protested (that I'm aware of) the use of this name in describing his mentally challenged condition though.
