Anyone trying to get one or two or ten today? Any updates? I am going to WDW for the BATB release nexy month so I was wondering what the scene is like at WDW! <3
 
Hubby is there now, says it's not too bad. About 40-50 ppl ahead of him and a few behind him. When he gets home I'll make sure he posts about the full trip. But in all honesty I think the BatB release will be a bit more hectic due to higher demand/popularity.
 
Anyone have any updates on the scene at DLR? Bummed, it's month end here at work so I doubt I can make it until after work.... I haven't been to a PODM release since they started the wrist band process. Have these been selling out within the same day or two?

like always.. sounds like the FL ppl are not crazy and beating each oither over the head for pins. I hope it stays nice like that over there for everyone. Sure would b sad if the ebay sellers of fl find out what gold egg is waiting for them at wdw. :(

fl is still no wrist band right???
 
As far as I know, no wristbands and when I found TWO...count them 2! Mulan PODM over a MONTH after their release at downtown disney...the girl said that they had sold out by 3pm the day of the release! Don't know how I got so lucky....but I am SO glad I did!

That's awesome! What scenes we did you get?
 
I got to DTD around 9 - 9:10, and there wasn't a big line. Not compared to other releases at least. There was an employee there with a bucket of Hidden Mickeys handing one out to each person in line as they got to her. The scenes that had just the ghosts in them were going faster than the others, but there were still a bunch of good scenes there. Afterwards, I went to Hollywood Studios and there were still several scenes, but mostly Mickey alone or Mickey/Donald/Goofy together. I expect BatB to be a lot crazier.
 
This wasn't bad. My husband just got back and got two pretty good scenes (couldn't go this morning because I'm feeling extremely ill) and he said they still had a lot left. I wonder if they'll even have some of these into tomorrow. That'd be a change! :D On that note, I find it hilarious that some Ebay sellers are trying to sell certain scenes for upwards of $170.00 as this is clearly not one of the more popular, nay well known, releases... :rofl:

If I went after work do you think I have a chance of picking one up? Or are they sold out at DLR?
