July Release Update From DSF
That abbreviated July flyer would be my dream flyer, since it only has a single release on it. I could actually save money and catch up on paying bills and stuff.

Alas... More is sure to come, which will more than likely cost another arm and leg. Curses, pin trading hobby! LOL

Well, I can't say much for these four pins, but I am excited to see the pins for the rest of the month. Must be a really big release if the poster was delayed and then most of the pins on the poster are further delayed.

They use the lobby and balcony portions (before you get into the seating area of the theatre) for the trading. I can't see them opening up the seating area at all - they'd need more employees to manage/keep an eye on people.

I know exactly what they use, been there for the last few. it is too cramped though for 300+ people. which is what the original comment was about
 
I really do not understand their hesitation in making the BT's in a larger edition. They are by FAR the nicest pins that I have seen as far as quality and scenes. Even if they raised the prices to reflect the extra work for a larger edition everyone would still buy them. Super lame.
 
My son was a big time baseball player before he got sick. He collected pretty much every baseball pin that came along. Part of me wants these on his behalf though he's kinda lost his interest in both baseball and pins these days.

They're doing Character Breakfast at DSF on Saturdays for the Monsters University run, so they wouldn't be able to start selling pins until after 10am which is too late to use the theater lobby for pin trading (past pin trading events they have cleared us out by 9:30am to get ready for the first movie). A few years ago, they sometimes rented an available empty storefront to host a Pin Trading event across the street in the H&H complex.
 
Chip N dale looks like Alvin n the chipmucks loves it. Jessica's legs are flawless.

I think it is something in the air, but now that I arrived in CA, I'm much more nervous about these releases. Like moreso than when I was on the east coast. I think DSF is polluting the air O_O I'm assuming the flyers will be out on Saturday so this is going to be a LOOOOOOONG rest of the week...

I'm only in CA until Sunday and I didn't plan on going to DSF at all. However, I'm betting by the "didn't" you can tell I did haha Today I actually ended up having a free day and it was really a spur of the moment decision but we were able to rent a car and I was able to see DSF O___O 2 things to note:

1) HOLY COW THAT PLACE IS TINY! I swear I couldn't even fit like 40 people in that tiny store, I now understand how bad it is on bad releases.
2) SWEET MOTHER OF MONKEY MILK that ice cream is absolutely delicious! I cannot even...just cannot...

So I finally saw DSF and sadly there were no PTDs but I will be back in August (at Disneyland) to run the 1/2 marathon so, like my original plan, I'll be seeing everyone then (hope that answers Nathan's question haha) ;)

Because I thought that DPF'ers of CA were too kind sharing so many great pins with me so I had to share something back with you guys, I didn't know what else to bring and the heatwave was able to travel cross country by itself so I figured why not :lol:
