Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information
I would say that if your store is expected to get the dolls just try and get there as early as you can, if you are at the front of the line then stay there if not (i.e several people probably more than 4 are in front of you) then go to another store like Quasimodo said he would do. I dont think there will be too many line ups in stores as these dolls are not going to be anywhere near as popular as the Belle and Ariel DFDC sets or the Eric and Ursula LE dolls. So you should be right as long as if you go in early enough.
I agree that these dolls will probably sell out within the hour of release but that is only because of the hype caused on here, especially now that we know that the Euro Disney Stores will have 1000 units each this has caused higher anticipation and anxiety. I definitely think the stock will last a lot longer on the UK site which is why I find it odd that they increased the number of dolls there especially since if it did sell out in Europe those that missed out could always order it from the US if they really wanted it whereas the reverse cannot be said about the US/worldwide market unless you were to ask the help of a Euro member on the forum.
Either way I just think if you are smart about the release and prepared then you should be able to at least get one doll. Dont forget in most cases the reason why the dolls sell out is because most people get back ups or a secondary doll moreso than those that buy them to resell them on ebay. So that being said if you are smart about the release you should be able to at least get one doll if not at least one of each doll.
