Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information
You know what would be interesting? If people removed the front covers and changed them. So that the more elaborate covers would be on the snow and the light ones on the coronation set.
Guys please dont think that just because it is a preorder that your card will not be charged, I would still ensure that you have enough funds in the credit card to cover the payment of the dolls because whilst you are not charged Disney will put a hold on your card amounting to the total cost of your order. It is up to you bank's discretion if they allow this to still go through or not but the purpose of the hold is to ensure that the person placing the order has sufficient funds in their account to pay for the dolls when it comes to that point in time that they must be shipped. If your bank does not allow the hold to go through due to insufficient funds your order will decline.
Had a terrible day, came back and saw these and it made my day better for so many reasons.
Anna: Perfect! Everything about her is perfect. I especially like her face sculpt. they did a great job!
Elsa: Expected more, but you know what, I'm satisfied with what we got! A few things that I noticed:
1) The reversed the cloak. The lining is supposed to be satin, while the outside is fabric and the inside is satin. Kind of interesting.
2) The black part of her dress is not satin as it is in the movie.
3) The teal part is now dark blue.
4) Does anyone know why half of the flower logo on her cape is a different color? is it just a lighting thing?
5) Her face sculpt is meh. she's too happy, not formal enough.
But I will say this, I showed it to my sister and I thought she was going to tell me not to get it for her, but she screeched and woo'ed.
And yeh, I agree. For what we could have gotten, this is amazing!
I can't believe I'm saying this... but... Good Job disney merchandising!
Anna is honestly worth more than $100, while Elsa is worth the price tag. Something i thought was off with the last doll releases.
And I am glad that it's now a LE5,000.
Predictions: Elsa will sell out in 30-60 minutes. Anna will sell out in 60-90 minutes. These dolls will not last more than 5 hours. 7 max.
Im sure a pre paid cc works differently than a regular card too because that money is on the card for a set limit. Every time Ive done a pre order the money hasnt hit until the item was ready to ship out. I have enough on the credit card to cover them, but just want to have the cash ready to pay them off right away. Either way Im not worried about that. Thanks for the advice though.
I think these look great! I'm so excited! The only thing I am not excited about, is that if my store does the same thing again, making you choose between the 2. Trying to find someone to come with me, but Fridays are a very difficult day to find someone :/

I agree; it doesn't seem like they want you to have a "magical day" at that store...smhCall the official Disney Store online or something or a representative and let them know. Tell them that you want to buy both and that they shouldn't have those restrictions since the announcement doesn't say that you had to pick one.
I agree with you Polaris. Anytime I ever pre-order anything, my money is always put on hold. I def wouldn't try to order rhem without funds readily available.Regardless of the type of credit card it doesn't matter at the end of the day disney will put a hold on the funds in your card. It is up to your credit card provider as to whether or not they put it through as a a transaction or not as all providers are different. The fact of the matter is Disney will put a hold on your card regardless of what you statement will say. I have had this verified by Disney and other members on the forum.
Sorry if I am sounding very frank about this but to be honest I am just trying to make it plain and simple rather than having a grey area. As mentioned by so many others here it is better to be safe than sorry. The last thing you want is to tell people that it may go through if you dont have the funds because it is a preorder only for their credit card provider to not allow the transaction through. Therefore by listening to the information on the forum they would miss out on the dolls, especially since we are expecting these to sell out so quickly. So to put simply, yes it is a preorder and yes you should expect to pay for the dolls when you preorder them, just like you would if you were to preorder them in store.

Okay so do we know the official time of release? I saw on fb that it is 12pm EASTERN. Either way, I'll be here looking for links. Oh and they have already hit ebay. No joke.
I saw the last ones listed the same day they were released. The seller stated they had a order confimation from Disney. I'm really not sure how selling preorder items work on ebay, but, I personally don't like ordering off there with out a picture of the actuaI item I'm purchasing. Thats a lot of money to be scammed out of. I reported those two sellers. No that is not right, it is always released at 12am (midnight) Pacific Standard time so the normal time that the website is updated everyday.
If I can get on this site without it crashing i should be able to post the links, but I am sure someone else will beat me to it.
Would they be able to start selling it on ebay this early? Coz it is a preorder and the doll isnt expected for at least another two months. Im pretty sure you arent allowed to sell items like that on ebay are you?
Ebay Policy:
"Policy overviewPresale listings generally consist of items that are sold before they're available to the public, such as video games, tickets, and custom-made items. (For the rules on magazine subscriptions and certain promotional items and events, seeAdditional information.) These items often aren't in the seller's control or possession when they're listed.
If you want to list presale items, you must meet all of the following criteria:
Make sure your listing follows these guidelines. If it doesn't, it may be removed, and you may be subject to a range of other actions, including limits of your buying and selling privileges and suspension of your account."
- Guarantee that the item will be available for shipping within 30 days from the purchase date. Be sure to clearly state this information in your listing.
- Clearly indicate in the listing that the item is a presale item.
- The handling time specified in your listing should reflect the time from the end of the listing until the item is shipped to the buyer. Be sure to specify the correct handling time in your listing.
I thought there was some sort of time span in terms of how far out from a preorder they are allowed to list an item. With the items not expected for another two months they really should not be allowed to list those items. But I guess the sellers dont care as they just want to make a quick buck.
Thanks for sharing this info Mali!
Yep yep they will be looking at each other. I plan to place mine like that to*!!!!!!!INAUDIBLE SQUEALS OF GIDDY JOY!!!!!!*
OH MY GOD I AM SO EXCITED AND HAPPY!!!!
Elsa looks STUNNING!!!
Also, I am super happy and appreciative of how their eyes are looking. I just want the Elsa again. If I'm understanding this correctly and not visually being dyslexic, then when I place my Elsa dolls together, it will be the past and present/future looking at each other. I LOVE THAT.
...GOOD GOD SHE LOOKS SO GOOD!!!!
One more thing, normally the stock photos make the dolls look terrible and cheap. In this photo, I think Elsa looks GORGEOUS. By that logic, can you even imagine how brain implodingly beautiful she will be in real life!?!? Oh I could just die.
