Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information

Oh yes i do the same. im always scanning for the other dolls i need. which is now just Snow white and Mother Gothel. When I get impatient I take out a couple of my dolls and put them on my dresser to admire. I dont have them on display because I cant find a good space for them. Plus I already have three rooms and a closet full of my other dolls..... I hope to display the 17'' collection someday.

I love that clip! Makes me want her too!
I would love if Disney surprised us with a new 17 inch Snow and evil queen! Snow doesn't have to be as fancy as the first, they could do her more like she looks in the film. That way people who missed the first could get one. Me personally I don't care what it looks like I just want a 17 inch snow that's not gunna cost a fortune

Id love a LE Tink but with the Designer Fairies release I doubt that would happen. I was hoping for Tink to be in her more classic outfit instead of from a specific movie. I might change my Designer Tink's outfit to make her look more classic.

Isnt it too adorable! but I find it odd the posted this video only a year ago........

LE Snow White "17 was listed for auction on Ebay yesterday starting at $200; She is now almost $800 even though bidding doesn't end for another 4 days. I'm sure she will get to the current Buy It Now price of $1,200 - $1,5000 or over. I don't understand why people bid so early and drive the price up for everyone. It doesn't make any sense!

I don't either! They can't honestly think that no one else is going to bid in the remaining four days. The only thing I can think of is that they're trying to scare everyone else away.

I know, I feel if you can afford to buy at those prices why not just get one of the Buy It Now dolls?

I've bid on two things so far and I waited until the last 3 minutes before the auction ended.

Everyone has their own style, I know some people bid early so they don't forget to bid. I have had moments where I have missed out because I never placed a bid and lost track of time which has made me bid early on other occasions.

eBay Is Honestly Like The Valley Of Death. often times when collectables are on auction ive seen them go higher than other of the same items on bin. But in the end I feel that early bids are ineffective on the final price. ive seen many items with 10 mins left that go way up into hundreds and thousands regardless. basically if something is worth it it going to hit its price value no matter what. I hardly bid I just try to find the best bin.

I suppose so, I guess it will alway top out to whatever people are willing to pay. I've seen a lot of auctions go higher than the BIN prices as well. I think at that point I'd just stop bidding and buy the BIN doll. Yeah, I'd prefer to purchase something out right if possible -- a lot less stress.

Eek! I just saw that she sold for $790 but the end of the auction was not for another four days. How does that happen? Can a seller end an auction ahead of time?

absolutely the seller has the power to stop the auction and either sell it for the most recent bid or cancel the bids and not sell it so long as it is not with the last twelve hours of the auction. the buyer is lucky to have got her at the price i still need her! someday my princess will come lol

Ive delt with ebay for a long time and the policies they have now compared to just a few years ago are ridiculous. I really try to avoid them but they are the most popular secondary market.

I didn't know that. Well I guess that's one reason to get your bid in early! LOL. Whoever got her is very lucky. That's a darn good price for that doll considering the price she usually goes for!

Are there any other places to get dolls on the secondary market besides ebay? Amazon is ridiculous and I don't feel comfortable trading without any sort of protection in place against fraud.

it really is. however one my co workers got hers at a consignment shop a couple years ago for 20$!!!!!!!!!! Yes Only 20! Still in the box and all. I almost didnt believe her. Its amazing that some people dont know what they have or what theyre getting rid of especially since the price tag is 99 dollars on the box. Shes a major snow white fan so she deserved her but I should be so lucky lol!
