Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information
I think a Hans doll would be really pretty, if you don't mind that word! I don't like him at all tho..but I can already picture the doll in my mind :D I'll be really disappointed if we get Hans but no Kristoff ;( he's so adorable~

Thank you Matthewlondon and AmandaAutumn for clearing up the Snow queen Elsa hair/skin tone, and for the photo! I thought it might be the case of lighting. In any case she is very beautiful!

I don't want to open a can of worms here because I'm being genuine in my question: why does everyone really like Elsa? Is it just because she's beautiful? I see a girl who is scared and doesn't seem to try to help herself, and runs away from the problem. I love Anna because she's bubbly, strong, funny and kind. I don't have any connection with Elsa, but I see a lot of people say they finally have a character they can relate to.
I really don't mean to offend anyone at all, I would just like someone to please explain why they like Elsa, because I'd truthfully like to know/understand what I'm missing.

I definitely agree with you and have been saying from the start that I prefer Anna over Elsa as a character. However I think a lot of people can relate with Elsa because of the fact that she has something that she is running away from and hiding and eventually faces it in the end with the help of Anna. I think this is what gives Elsa her appeal and the cause for the popularity. She is just a refreshing and new Disney princesses.

I think realitically yes Anna on the outset is the fun and bubbly sister but in terms of reality most people can relate moreso with Elsa and that whole "let it go" message that is plugged throughout the entire movie. Anna was a typical Disney princess for example the bubbly persona and the falling in love at first sight. Whereas Elsa was a more realistic princess and is the first WDAS princess that doesn't end up getting partnered at the end and even says that "you cannot marry a man you just met". (Not counting Merida as she is Pixar)

Also for children Elsa has powers so that is the extent of how cool Elsa is she has the costume that transforms and makes a castle out of ice which I think for the children is what makes Elsa a more loveable character.

I'd like to add that the main reason people all over the world love Elsa is, that she has a trait which she can't change (ice powers), she's scared people won't like her anymore if they find out (and almost all of them do when they find out except Anna) and it's her story with the struggle to accept this trait herself and others around her have to realize that it doesn't make her a bad person (ie evil in the movie). That's something almost everyone can relate to, if there's something which isn't perfect in their life or something they might hide from others, whatever that may be. Her character is about accepting the seemingly unacceptable.
I always loved Disney but as I got older, I wasn't as interested anymore as all their characters were non-controversial and...then suddenly Elsa shows up. She symbolizes a part of people's life all of us somehow have to struggle with. And she conquers this, she shows everyone there might be a happy ending for us, too. She could look like a troll for all I care, I absolutely love her character and the message behind her! She's telling children it's okay exactly how you are, don't change!

When me and my sister were little (3 years old or so) we only liked blond princesses and thought a real princess has to be blond. (And wear something pink) It' s funny what preferences small kids have. I like both sisters equally, couldn't choose a favourit.
A lot of people have experienced what it means to be diffenrent in a way and, as a result, lonely and that's why I think so many can relate with Elsa.

Doll wise, yes, I personally love Elsa because she's beautiful. Character wise, I love that she has this power that brings her so much joy until it hurts the person she cares about most. After that she's so scared to hurt her again that she locks herself up even though she misses her so much. I think it's sweet and sad and heroic. And then, yeah, it's nice to see her let it go. :D

Doll wise Elsa is stunning to look at whereas Anna is not. In the movie I think people prefer Elsa because she's different to any other princess, she's pretty, she has powers! And she has the main song of the film. I just think Elsa is unlike any other princess, and she has cool ice powers are the main reason people love her. Others love her song let it go and a lot of people can relate to her struggle with excepting herself. Personally while I like Anna, she's very annoying, clumsy and not graceful or princess like or as pretty. That's why I prefer Elsa anyway:)

I personally like both characters as they each have qualities that make them special. As for the dresses, I love the Anna coronation one! The color and details are just so stunning!! I was very impressed with the Elsa snow queen and Anna dresses the Disney store produced. They are Amazing!! It's nice that Disney has created such a wonderful movie that children and adults can enjoy and have great products to go along with it =)

I just want my Anna and Elsa shipped soon and arrive to me safely. It's been a pain dealing with the US disney store to be honest, after they changed my address for some reason without my consent, I've had to contact them several times to correct mistakes. In total I have written 6 e-mails and had 3 phone calls with them before all addresses were back to how I ordered them. It was like when I finally had corrected all mistakes, they put in a new one instead... it was driving me nuts.
Once I wrote them an e-mail regarding changing a name on the delivery address and I got an e-mail saying "Isabella, thank you for your interest in the D23 membership..." and my e-mail was clearly attached in the bottom... so I had to call them again. -_-''

I actually love Anna's coronation doll - love the dress! It was actually that one I wanted the most at first.
Character-wise, I love Anna. I think it's because she reminds me of Rapunzel, who is my second fave Disney character. The same, positive and naive personality, where's Elsa is the serious one, for obvious reasons.
I really like both girls, but guess if I had to chose, I would be a team-Anna maybe XD

Before I saw the movie, I thought I would like Anna the most. After seeing the movie, I liked Elsa more. Not because she has blonde hair (like ME), but because of her personality. She appears to be unfriendly/unloving, but it is because she is trying to protect those she loves. I liked Anna and thought she was pretty, but personally, I thought she was too clumsy, ungraceful, and too desperate for love. I guess I like Elsa's personalities better: She's not clumsy, not one to be impulsive, and she doesn't like to have confrontation in front of others. I hope I don't rub anyone the wrong way . . . I do like both, but that's my opinion.

I share the same opinion as you lol^ in fact Anna is one of the more annoying princess's, so desperate for love and clumsy & has zero grace! In real life if I met someone like her I would get very annoyed lol. I do like her though as she is cute and funny. I just prefer Elsa and more graceful Princess's like Cinderella, Aurora. I think Anna is like a bad version of Rapunzel. She's quite similar in many ways to Rapunzel but she is much more annoying IMO. Anna also seems very child like , whereas Ariel, Aurora etc are all younger but yet are more mature.

Thanks everyone for your reasons, I'm starting to understand why now. I personally still prefer Anna, because she never gives up on her sister. Some see her as immature and annoying, I see her as a cooped up girl fed up with not being allowed to do anything (yes I guess like Rapunzel), so I understand why she's naive. But yeah, though Elsa will never be my favourite because she frustrates me (personally), I do love the movie and I appreciate people telling me why they really like her - I can understand from other people's point of views now. :-)

And I'm so not graceful, so I prefer the bubbly princesses like Anna, Ariel, Jasmine (funnily- all Princess who consider themselves cooped up where they don't want to be lol), over Cindy, and Aurora (though I do love them, they're just not my TOP favs).

I'm pretty late to the conversation about Elsa, but just chiming in that for me, I really love both sisters in two different ways. I love Anna for never giving up on her sister, and being joyful in trying to make the best of the situations she finds herself. I love Elsa because she struggled to do what she thought she needed to her whole life and tried to protect the ones she loved in her own way, and had to come to realize that she truly needed Her sister in the end. I tend to relate more to Elsa myself, but really both princesses are in my favorites now and their strong personalities and story of coming together is what I feel really made the movie special for me. <3

Anyhoo, just my two cents =>

Nope. 17th. Cause by the 17th well all be up at midnight and stores are most likely going to have them in stock. IF they are sold in stores.

I'm pretty certain this is going to be like Gothel - where it's a literal surprise release. I'm okay with that though, might make them a little easier to get. Not a lot, but even a little is something with these dolls!

How funny, I never considered Jasmine remotely bubbly. I actually think Aurora is bubblier than Jasmine. Jasmine to me falls more on the Elsa side of the scale than Anna's.

Yep. Except in some cases - like Eric and Ursula. Even then because the surprise releases are usually such small editions there are lots of stores that don't even get any when the stores do get them.

LOL yep that is what I mean, as in dolls are more likely to be released online moreso than in store. i.e if there is a doll release it is more likely that you will be able to get it online rather than in store.

Also even though Ursula and Eric had fewer numbers in stock most stores that still sold LE dolls still stocked Ursula and Eric although some only had one or two available. A majority of the stock was online with only major stores getting up to 10-15 dolls.
