Jealous! I get to see it tomorrow! I will be waiting up to see, I would love any of the witches as LE, but really the wicked witch is what I'm hoping for!

I swear, Disney just can't win by our standards. Last year had too many releases in a short period of time. This year has too few releases...and too many RE-releases. Gah! I just want them to take advantage of their PLENTIFUL opportunities instead of passing up on them.

WOW! That is a big release day then!
I really wish that they would have more to do with Esmeralda. Seriously, no matter how many times I see Hunchback of Notre Dame, I will always be reduced to tears. And then the level of detail that they put in creating such a stunningly BEAUTIFUL cartoon character in both artistry and heart...I can't even explain how much she touches my heart. I seriously doubt that they would make a 17" LE Esmeralda for this release, but still, one could dream.
One of the theories being passed around is that the new designer collection will be composed of the Disney Heroines. If that turns out to be real, then I'm totally wanting one.
Also, Jessica Rabbit.

I already gave up my hopes on having a LE Theodora doll, so I really wish I can at least have a LE Mulan surprise release.
 
those movies are being released on the 12th (so tuesday next week) so if there would be a doll to go with any of them (I doubt) it would be put up then and not now
I can hope that they would release a doll or two!
 
I think there is a good possibility that something will indeed come out next week. There's just way too many DVD re-releases next week. Plus from past history Disney has mostly released these dolls on a Tuesday. I don't even care which doll comes out at this point: Jessica Rabbit, Mulan or Esmeralda because i'm going through withdraw, but they also know they could make a profit and they will. By 1:00am next Tuesday we will know for sure.
 
I would love nothing more than Esmeralda - as disappointed as I am at the lack of doll releases and as much as I would like Pocahontas I would really prefer Esmeralda. As much doll withdrawal as I have been going through, it's been nice not having to worry about shelling out so much money for dolls!
 
Gah! The suspense is driving me crazy. Sure the mass dvd release isn't till Tuesday and those movies aren't really (or ever) mass marketed...making me think there won't actually be anything released alongside them...BUT! I WANT SOMETHING MADE SOON!
Disney should know that dolls of Mulan, Jessica, and Esmeralda would sell out and be wildly successful. (Especially since they are in such high demand) Even I would want Jessica and Esmeralda dolls. I just wish they didn't market and produce according to the same formula all the time. Come on! Think outside the box!

OMFG!!!!!! YEEESSS!!!! Thanks so much for the heads up Babydoll! I would never thought of the idea of asking directly to Disney, as they always want to hide their info very well. Their response is so shocking to me, but now my hopes of having a LE Theodora revived! I just hope Glinda isn't the one selected to represent the LE doll as she's the "heroine". My guess is that this secret doll (or maybe dolls?) will most likely be released at the time with the BluRay/Dvd, just like they did with both Tangled dolls.
 
Well I hope. Lets not take it to Heart..most off the time they have no. Idea what they are talking about..I still hope Hope there will be something.

Hell, I'd even be happy if they were to at least make Jessica Rabbit and Esmeralda classic dolls! :shock:
 
Not to get too off topic, but are you familiar with the German musical based on Disney's Hunchback, Der Glockner Von Notre Dame? Just wondering, because if I ever saw that show live, I would have sobbed. With the end change they made, it's probably the most emotionally perfect version of Hunchback ever.

With that said, I would go absolutely nuts for an Esmeralda!
