Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information
What's a good time to go to a Disney store at my mall on Tuesday???need input. Thanks
 
Well, it depends on the amount of dolls your store is getting, and the amount of collectors in your area. If dolls usually sell out within a few hours, I would get there as soon as the mall opens and wait outside of the store. That's just me though, and I'm crazy. But this is a super limited doll, and its better to be safe than sorry!
 
I'm going to show up a couple hours early....for Cinderella there were 4 people in line at 6 am. (so I might be too late going at 8:/ sure hope not though)
 
My doll still hasn't shipped..


ETA: My order actually shipped on Friday, and I just got an email from guest services today (9/30) 20 minutes ago... Oh Disney... Make me worry over nothing, why don't you... :facepalm:

I think there's a pretty good chance... I mean c'mon Lady Tremaine got a doll! I honestly didn't see her as a really "desireable" character for a doll...but Tink is getting a lot of attention what with all her movies and other.... fairy stuff (yeah ok I don't know much about her hahaha)... I'd say she's almost guaranteed a doll. But who knows?!

I would be more inclined to buy a peter and wendy over a tink, for sure! But with all the tink merchandise I think she'll get the doll. 3 dolls? Goodness my wallet wouldn't be able to cope! hahahahaha
 
Lol yeah three dolls would be killer to my wallet too. xD I just can't see them avoiding a Tink, but I think Peter and Wendy would be really cool for a two-set.
 
Hey does anyone know if ur account for the cinderella doll is charged when the doll arrives oct 2nd, my doll was shipped but the money is still in my account, I'm a bit confused, I thought It would be charged as soon as the doll shipped, as some other have said here.
 
I went to the disney store champs elysées and they were 20 cenderella. She is lovely. Here are pictures of her deboxed

 
I still wish they had made her more traditional with the right hair color and bangs and her dress in a silver color and more of a ball gown shape instead of an A-line, but she really is sweet in person. I like the expression she has and I can not complain at all about her pretty face. I still think her necklace is overdone and gothic looking instead of "Cinderella". It was nice on the designer doll, but for this they should have done something different. I don't need her to match the movie exactly, but she just seems a bit too "modern prom" and not fairytale enough.
 
Maybe it is part of the Disney marketing philosophy or psychology to never give us exactly what we want, so we will always want another. I have often thought that because I have many versions of their dolls and still never feel satisfied that I actually have the ultimate one. Then they issue a new one with a slight change and I want that too. It's absolutely working on me, and not just for the dolls. I think because the characters are animated , it is like lightening in a bottle, you can never capture it and feel like you own it. So I think its a good bet to say we will see many more versions of the Designer and 17 inch dolls.
