DSF/DSSH Live from Hollywood - 31 hours in an alley

Kupo I love ur positive attitude/reframes! I'm a pretty positive person myself... although I think in this situation I have switched more to realism (in the sense that there is a pretty high chance I won't get the pins) haha. But I do hope ur right in ur theory; that would be great if that happened!

I also really hope that DSF will try and do something else after this release is finished. Not saying to do something quick that will somehow magically fix the problem bc that doesn't seem possible. I have come to realize that pins are much like politics: u can't please everybody no matter how much u change the rules XD But try something different, go back to the drawing board. I agree that at the very minimum increased edition sizes would be a great start to help. And DSF from what I've seen takes their customers input into consideration, if we all give our suggestions/inputs (without beligerently raging at them) they'll take it into consideration and keep trying. It is pretty clear wristbands are not going to work well given all DSF conditions (location, edition size, characters they release and so on) so we'll see how it pans out soon enough.

Now the more and more that I look at this pin, it's not necessary to have in my collection. Although I love the concept, the retail is already too high in the first place considering what you said about the artwork being kinda sloppy.

Ironically, the artwork seems sloppiest on the most wanted one (Rapunzel), second sloppiest and the second most wanted one (Up), third sloppiest on the third most wanted one (Stitch, who really isn't sloppy at all but Robin Hood's is near perfect ), and least sloppy on the least wanted one (Robin Hood) haha xD

I know that is ironic isn't it? Which is hopeful for me bc if it realllly boiled down to me getting one I'd actually love Robin Hood for my collection lol There aren't very many pins of him/them at all. And if ur previous theory was right I'd be okay spending $25 to $30 for it eventually

I know! The Robin Hood ones and Stitch look great but I'm just not into those characters unfortunately. I'm just waiting for my Wreck-it Ralph couple valentine. Now, I keep bringing it up, but I really want it to happen! That would be so cool if they did that! Don't want to spoil it for people who haven't seen it yet.

That'll be the surprise release...

I know, I have to say that I'm very disappointed that they weren't one of these chocolate (which is candy) boxes...I mean, COME ON! The movie just came out, the movie is about to come out on DVD and Blu Ray, it is Valentine's this was the perfect opportunity to promote the film, have a great pin, and have their first pin together lol (considering no WiR pin has ever featured 2 characters on it yet, well, I mean 2 characters from WiR). The day a pin gets released, the small group of WiR fans here are going crazy haha xD

Agree! Robin Hood is the best looking one but... I don't collect Robin Hood. I'm totally okay that I didn't make it to this release because to me, the pin doesn't justify the wait. Not when you had this big, beautifully done Lilo and Stitch Beloved tales pin which retailed at 12.95 and was about the size of this one. Heck, even the Tangled BT which I thought had okay artwork (better than this one) retailed at 12.95! And the Tangled PTD was gorgeous! And that was only 11.95 and big too! 17.95 is awfully expensive for a pin that is... less than perfect and just "ok". DSF is capable of much better, we've all seen it

That'll be the surprise release...
LOL
If that does happen, anyone wanna pick me one up please???

Yes, this would have been such a good way for promotion! Let's have a crazy pin party! LOL
There are just so many good opportunities for really nice pins for WiR! Hope to see some new designs and not the reused, Ralph smashing bricks all the time lol

More Vanellope pins please!!

And to stay on topic: Yeah! Tangled...chocolate box pins with one handed Punzel!
