DSF/DSSH Live from Hollywood - Mulan pins
I collect Mulan and Fa Zhou. If anyone is willing to TRADE me the surprise pin I would really appreciate it. I have a Mulan PODM I can use for part of the trade. I would offer to purchase but unfortunately I have a surprise vet bill to pay. Good luck everyone!
 
...good grief, oh what do I do?! This surprise pin is tempting me to jump in my car and drive over to Hollywood. BIG FROWN...for just one pin?! It say's JUMBO. Does anyone know the measurements? If it truly is a JUMBO, I will indeed go get one.
 
She's 3 inches tall, almost 2 1/2 inches wide. The pin completely covers the DSF backing card from just beneath the hanging whole punched into the card... Definitely bigger than the usual DSF pins...
 
Went there during lunch. Got there about 12:05 and everything is sold out except the surprise pin. They had some left so I got my allocated 1. As I was leaving, it started raining. Just made it back into Hollywood and Highland center as it really started coming down.
 
Love the surprise pin, if anyone can get an extra or wants to sell theirs reasonably I am a buyer for sure.

Have to say I'm shocked because it sounds like there are a bunch of surprise pins left. I think the surprise pins has a great idea, it looks amazing, but kind of wish they told the story through the pin. I can understand a giant Mulan in the background but I would have loved if they showed her as a warrior like on the left and then her saving China on the right or maybe just had multiple smaller characters on the bottom.

Wow, the surprise pin is super big and detailed! Definitely among the nicest pins ever made by DSF! As of 3:00 there were about 20 left (according to the cashier).
 
I really need help getting the marquee please. It's the last one I need in the set :( Please PM me if you can help.

Because you guys already have WDW lol xD Us in the northeast and mid-anywhere get absolutely nothing haha xD (The Disneystore in Times Square carries 4 types of NY-related pins and the pins you can buy on Disney.com) lol But I digress, not trying to get into an argument...just saddened with every nice DSF release >_<
 
You have made a great point and I agree it should be spread out a little better. I personally would not give up WDW for a soda fountain or even extra large disney store so the scales are surely off balance for you guys (and that totally sucks)

Truthfully, I'm all in favor of having 3 DSFs with each place getting only 100 of each pin (talk about crazy lines when it comes to big releases) and only 50 for LE150 surprise pins?!?!? However, that's just from a perspective of people on the east coast I think (where DSF is only a far-off memory haha xD). I think the best case would be making the edition sizes a bit bigger to maybe 400 if they open up one more DSF somewhere in the US or 600 if they open up 2 more DSFs to accommodate the extra room. However, a DSF anywhere but CA seems too far-fetched to me at the moment :(
 
Too far fetched maybe....but with disney anything is possible. if they see a business opportunity it can pop up at any time :)
As far as the releases (at least here on the east coast) the major ones should only happen in the spring (avoiding both snow storms up north and crazy *** lightning storms down here) :D
