Mike forgot all about the toilet water until Tink just sent him a text!

He is now very releaved to know that the evidence was protected.

'May that purple dragon rest in peace' quips Mike as he and Pascal approach the enterance to Animal Kingdom!

Aurora is searching under the bed when she feels a tug on her dress. She looks down as Abu hands her a note that he found in the closet. She reads the note out loud. "Man this killer really is prideful to leave so many notes with clues for us." She says to no one inparticular.

Aurora hears of Scar joining the search and she is a bit skeptical of his "help"

Aurora feels that the room has been searched very well and heads to the front gate as Louie has instructed.

Tink is waiting at the front gate for the rest of the detectives to catch up. She calls the lab to see if they have made any headway at all on the latest evidence. She wonders what they will do about Scar trying to hang out with them and decides to talk with louie about sending him on a wild goose chase to get him off their backs so they dont have to watch their backs as well as look for the killer.

Archimedes surveys everything happen below him as a red feather is found and then bursts into flame. 'Hmmmm, a Phoenix is a rare find, and is definitely not native to this area or the Animal Kingdom. This killer continues to get more and more mysterious.' He then receives a text from the Chief and heads off to the front gates to finally meat up with the other detectives.

Pascal is unsure about scar joining the team due to pascal being snak size. He is so upset with the loss of pluto and figment he cant help but think that he is next as he has been quiet for a while. As Mike is walking is to the park Pascal spots a snak bar and pokes mike as he is starving you know what they say breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

Mike laughs because Pascal said he was 'snack size'. ''If I was Scar, I'd want a bigger snack!''

Mike and Pascal are now at the gates, awaiting the rest of the team.

After pascal and mike shared there hot dog they made there way to the gates to wait for the other detectives to arrive. pascal is now full for at least a couple of hours. As the sun rises Pascal warms up on mikes head this whole cold blooded thing is annoying at times.

Mike is very aggitated at the prospect of being the body warmer. Mike picks up Pascal and gives him the hot dog wrapper as a blanket. After all it is still early morning.

Mike thinks that watching Pascal the chameleon eating a hot dog is one of he funniest things he has ever seen.

Making it to the gates and already seeing a few detectives there, Archimedes decides to head on in to the park. He heads for his usual post in the tree of life. He curious to see if something will pass his way that might need some looking into while the other detectives wait to be let in.

Mike looks on in Envy at Archimedes.

The gates aren't open just yet so a pair of wings would have come in very handy and the last thing he wants is being hunted down by security if he makes it over the gates..

Mike hopes that someone is along soon to open the gates.

After Basil assists Tink in the bagging of the ashes, he hears her relay the text she received from Louie. He gathers what little equipment he has brought and begins the trek to the gates, keeping an eye on Scar in the process. He asks Tink to text Louie and see if he can arrange for any of his assistants to bring everyone's DFI kits to gates as well. Hardly anyone had time to grab all of their gear due to the excitement of the previous night.

Pascal sees Mikes envy due to Archimedes being able to fly and just to rub it in he walkes up to the gate and walks through the bars and waves at Mike. Pascal can see that he is not amused and jumps back through to keep mike company. pascal talks to mike and says " we must be early birds as there are not many detectives around.

'Early bird gets the worm Pascal, and you sure like worms... don't you' says Mike.

Mike sticks his hand through the bars to illustrate his problem.

Mike notices that there are some litter pickers inside the park preparing the kingdom for the day ahead. He hopes they don't destroy any more clues!

*Chessie was sitting back, watching quietly as Tink and Basil put the ashes into a bag and picked up the vial of water still clutched in Figment's hand. He's still considering how it is that the RED FEATHER could have just spontaneously combusted.*

Chessie (quietly, more to himself than the other detectives): 'Is the RED FEATHER spontaneously combusting more of a red herring and a means to an end of destroying evidence than an actual clue? Or is that a clue in and of itself?'

*Chessie shrugs, dismissively, as he hears the orders are to pack up and meet with the other detectives as the day is starting and they need to clear out.*

*King Louie arrives at the front gate with his group in tow and greets those that have been waiting. He collects ALL the evidence and then spots Scar out of the corner of his eye.*

LOUIE:"Goodmorning all. We can go in now and we have about an hour before the public will be allowed in. There isn't time for a full breakfast, but muffins,pastries and cfoffee will be available at Kusafiri Coffee Shop in the Africa area. I suggest going over there and getting your morning energy boost. For those that forgot their DFi kits at the lodge, my assistants will be taking them to the coffee shop for you to pick up. I will take ALL this new evidence to the lab and get updates. Scar I have my eyes on you and just so you know , we aren't finished talking about who is actually King of the Jungle."

*Scar puts on his best smile as he sees Louie and his group approach. He listens and smiles as Louie gives the morning instructions. As Louie finishes up he mumbles under his breath.... "Oh yes we will talk you banana breath ape....."

Archimedes smells some biscuits cooking in the distance. He just had some rodents to munch on, but could go for a spot of tea. He heads off in the direction of the coffee shop.

Basil enters the coffee shop to get his DFi kit and a spot of breakfast. Seeing no tea on the menu, he asks for a cup of hot water and a cheese danish. He reaches into his overcoat vest pocket and pulls out a zippered bag containing his stash of emergency tea bags. Afterall, a detective can't fully concentrate without a spot of proper tea. He takes his tea and danish outside so he can light up his pipe as well and review his journal before the morning's search.

Aurora is happy that the detectives get at least an hr before the guests. Aurora heads to the cafe w everyone else. She grabs a bagel and a side if fruit. She is happy there is food. But is getting a bit tired. She doesn't usually drink codfee but today it might be necessary. Aurora gets a cup and sits down to review her nites and add a few from last night.

*Chessie and a few other detectives arrive at the front just as King Louie is suggesting that everyone head over to Kusafiri Coffee Shop for a continental breakfast so they can keep up their energy. Chessie observes the challenge that passes between King Louie and Scar but doesn't say anything ... he thinks that it could be a source of great fun later and just makes note of it for later.*

Chessie (grinning broadly, calling out to King Louie, but making sure that Scar hears): 'Just a thought and something to consider ... why is there so much obsession with being King when, on a chess board, the Queen is the most powerful piece?

*Before either one of them can answer, Chessie fades out to a grin and disappears, reappearing in the Coffee shop next to a very surprised Basil.*

Tink settles down with a bagel and ream cheese and a mocha. she thinks about what has transpired sofar. she hopes scar stays out of thier way and does not interfear with the investigation.

Aurora is enjoying her breakfast and the coffee seems to be working on helping her get her second wind. Aurora is still trying to absorb everything that has happened so far. She is going over the clues but is hoping that they will find more soon. Aurora is also not quite sure where they should look next within the park. Aurora starts thinking about the pointed questions Chessie has been asking and is trying to think of a female who might want to be Queen.

*Still grinning evilly Scar joins the others for morning Coffee and a Muffin. As if reading Tinks thoughts he sits down beside her. * "You know I have heard that ground up pixies make an excellent low calorie sweetner. With those hips my dear you may make enough for two cups."

Aurora is enjoying her fruit and is ready for a second cup of coffee. SO she gets up to get one when she overhears Scar talking to tinkerbell and she says "Scar!! We all happy to have your help in this investigation but no one needs your bully tactics. If that is all you are here to do then you may as well go back to where you came." Aurora then goes and gets a second cup of coffee and then back to re-reading her notes without waiting for a response from Scar.

*After seeing that the coffee shop doesn't have tea, Chessie quickly disappears back to the Kilimanjaro Club for a teabag, returns with one, and asks for a cup of hot water and a scone. After he has made his cup of tea, he joins Scar, Tink, Aurora, and the other detectives. Chessie, grinning widely, makes a point of adding milk and real sugar to his tea.*

Chessie (still grinning): 'The problem with low calorie sweetners, Scar, is that, too often, they're all artificial chemicals and ingredients ... and do you really think that this particular pixie, were she to become a sweetner ... would be any less artificial for being made of something organic?'

*Chessie grins wider and, tea in hand, turns his attention to the notes he has made on his iPhone, hoping to eventually crack this case.*

Tink hears this and turns to look at the other detectives with an astonished look on her face as they in turn look dumbfounded at what scar has said to tink.

with that tink flies up in the air and grabs scar by the wiskers and starts pulling them out. one by one
