MG2:KILLER IN THE KINGDOM--the game starts
*Scar is just about to the Lost Children Center and he sees some of the other detectives gathered around. His senses are suddenly put on high alert as he smells smoke in the air. He begins to look around and then sees where it is coming from. He calls out to the others,,,,,,"EVERYONE THE HAUNTED MANSION LOOKS LIKE IT'S ON FIRE> HURRY!! DON'T TRY TO GO IN."
 
Tink looks up as Scar approaches , stops and sniffs the air and looks wildly around. she thinks he is smelling some good prime rib or something like that when he starts yelling about the Haunted mansion being on fire. "what?!?! Tink quickly flies over to the Haunted Mansion and checks out what is happening, the smell of smoke thick in the air.

*Chessie had smelled smoke for a while, but figured that one of the restaurants had barbecue as a special, maybe. Suddenly Scar comes rushing out to the Missing Children's Center, yelling that the Haunted Mansion is on fire and that the detectives are to report there but not to go in.*

Chessie (still invisible): 'Another accident that isn't an accident? Doesn't it seem pointless to set a fire to kill a bunch of ghosts that already are dead? Unless, of course, there is something in the Mansion that needs to be destroyed ... .'

*Not waiting for an answer, the Cat disappears and reappears, completely visible, outside the Mansion, which already is engulfed in flames.*
 
Aurora watches as Nala and Kiara are reunited . . . so happy that we found her and that she has no idea what has been going on. Aurora gets the text from Scar about the DNA - very very interesting/confusing. Aurora wonders if the detectives will have a minute to get something to eat when Scar comes walking up and talks about smelling smoke . . . Aurora along with the other detectives hurry to Haunted Mansion.
 
Just as he walks up to the Castle, Anton received a text from the chief. Disgruntled, he turns around and heads away from the castle and towards the Haunted Mansion. At least it's not far.
 
Rafiki sees that the Haunted Mansion is on fire and hurries over there, raising the alarm to the Fire brigade on his way.

Thinking to himself there cannot be many casualties there as they are all dead anyway in there. I just hope that there are no guests in there that can get trapped. I do hope that the CMs on duty there can evacuate everyone safely.

Scar, fire, do you know if anyone is trapped? We almost need Zazu to fly over and check it out for us.

OOC: Not about much today will post when i get home tonight
 
*Since Chessie has the ability to appear and disappear at will, naturally he is the first on the scene. The Cat is watching passively as the Haunted Mansion already is engulged in flames as more detectives arrive on the scene. Chessie knows that the detectives have orders not to enter the burning building, but he can't figure out why set fire to a building inhabited by the dead unless someone is looking to destroy something that is meant to remain hidden.*

Chessie (still watching the burning building, aware of the detectives approaching): 'There already have been too many accidents that aren't accidents to assume that this is an accident ... . Has anyone wondered why someone would use fire to kill those who already are dead?'

*The Cat continues to watch the Haunted Mansion, wondering if now would be a good time to disobey orders and enter the burning building and see if there is something inside that needs to be salvaged before everything goes up - or down - in flames.*
 
Hours later Abu is still searching for the detectives. He and Carpet have been flying high and low all over the park but just can't seem to spot anyone. After checking his phone over and over again, Abu begins to become frantic. Abu decides they need to go as high as they can and look for anything that might get the other's attention when he spots what looks to be smoke from an area that should have no smoke. The duo make a beeline for the smoke.
 
Kevin leaves IASW and wonders where everyone has got to as she decided to take IASW again as she enjoyed the music.

After the second time round she gets off IASW and decides to go gather food for her chicks as she has not seen them for a few days and heads off to find food. After about an hour or so she heads to the entrance of the park and looks around to see that no one is watching and jumps into the bush and gets attacked by her 3chicks as they are really hungry and haved missed their mum.

While she is feeding her chicks she smells fire and sticks her head of the bush to see if it is close by and thank god it isnt..but she calms down her chicks and heads over in the direction of the smoke to see what is on fire so badly and hopes no one is injured or worse.

*Arriving at the scene, Scar sees that all guests are safe and that the Fire Department is working on putting the blaze out. He then heras an announcement on the parks PA system.*

ANNOUNCEMENT: LADIES AND GENTLEMAN WE APOLOGIZE, BUT AT THIS TIME ALL GUESTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO EXIT THE PARK. THIS IS FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO MAKE YOUR WAY OVER TO ONE OF THE OTHER PARKS FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE DAY. ANYONE SHOWING YOUR PASS FROM THE MAGIC KINGDOM WILL BE GIVEN FREE ENTRANCE. ALSO COMPLIMENTARY DINNER FOR ANYONE INCONVENIENCED BY THE NEED TO EVACUATE THE MAGIC KINGDOM. AT THIS TIME FOLLOW THE CAST MEMBERS INSTRUCTIONS AND PROCEED QUICKLY AND SAFLEY TO THE TRANSPORTATION STATIONS. THANK YOU AND AGAIN WE APOLOGIZE.
 
as kevin is running towards the smoke she hears the PA system tell guests to leave the Magic Kingdom and thinks things must be bad..

she notices alot of guests scrampling towards her and it feels like she is playing dodgeball but with people coming at her instead..she finally gets through the crowd and runs closer to the source of the smoke and finally notices what the cause of the huge smoke plume is...Haunted Mansion...she noticed other detectives already there and thanks god that no one else is injured.
 
*SCAR gathers his detectives around.++"Well now it seems that the only ones that are going to be left in the park are us and the killer. There will be no more excuses for not making an arrest. Even if there was anything inside the Haunted Mansion that would have helped it is gone now. We can still search around the tombstones though."
 
Dodo is relieved to see Nala reunited with her long lost daughter and watches with tears in his own eyes at the happy gathering. As they walk away, Dodo gives a final sniff and returns to the problems facing the detectives. He takes out his phone and reads the message from Scar and as he reads, slowly his eyes glaze over at all the techinical information. Shaking his head he realizes that maybe he should leave the techinical work to someone else.

Suddenly he smells smoke. Looking around frantically, he first checks to be sure his tail isn't on fire again. Satisified that his tail is OK, he hears someone shout that it's the HM on fire. He yells for his transport and heads over to the HM. The fire is raging out of control and the firemen are trying desperately to put it out. Then the announcer says that everyone must leave the park.

Well, that will just the detectives and the killer. Good and bad. Either we are going to solve this murder or we are all going to die.

**OOC Feeling better just in time. My daughter and grandson arrived yesterday for a two week visit. So happy to see him.
 
*Ghost Chip patiently awaits inside the Lost Children's Center. The kids tried to "play" with his intangible body only to discover their hands would go through him. "Sigh, where is everyone."

Suddenly over the loudspeaker, an announcement is made that the park is closing. As Chip exits the building, he see's a giant flume of smoke rising from Liberty Square. Floating toward that area, guests frantically try to get past each-other trying to escape the ever growing cloud of smoke. He finally reaches the source, the facade of the Haunted Mansion in flames. "This would definitely close the park down, so many attractions closed, now one original attraction possibly beyond repair, not to mention a lack of princesses for meet&greets."

Off to the side he views Haunted Mansion CM's aghast with true grief as the Reedy Creek fire department puts out the blazes. Other CM's and the dectectives stay put wondering the aftermath of the incident. "Was there anybody hurt in this?"
 
Kevin starts to search the creepy graveyard for any clues, she goes to search towards the darkened corner to take a look at the other tombstones that are out of sight.
 
*Scar gets word that no one was injured or killed in the fire from the fire department chief, but he still feels that they are missing something here outside in the graveyard area.*


OOC* I'm off to bed....two pieces of info have been sent out.
 
Iago flies to the Mansion when he sees the chaos. He notices the other detectives on the ground, and nearly bumps into Carpet with Abu in the air. Iago is really getting disturbed by this. What's to stop the killer from involving the Tiki Room next? He wants to help solve the problem, but he just doesn't know how.
 
As Abu and Carpet approach the smoke, they see that it is the coming from the Haunted Mansion and that the entire thing is on fire. Scared white like a sheet, Carpet flings Abu into the graveyard and dives into the river to avoid being burnt. Abu sails across the fence and lands with a whoomp near a cluster of gravestones. Fearing his fur will singe, Abu ducks behind one of the tombstones while the firefighters do their thing.
 
Rafiki starts helping the guests evacuate the park, sending them in the direction of the park exits. Once the area is clear and the fire is under control he then talks to Scar about searching the area and seeing what can be found as there is something wrong here.

Whlle waiting for the all clear, Rafiki takes out his bowl and starts seeing if he can get anything from performing magic in his bowl. He gets some of the ash from the fire that is blowing in the breeze and swirls it about his bowl.
 
MPH is deep in thought as Scar starts acting peculiar. MPH looks up as Scar notices the Haunted Mansion is on fire. MPH starts heading to the burning mansion, unsure if he should wear his normal mansion attire:

MPH notices it is a large fire and decides he should be prepared just in case help is needed and dons his firefighter garb:

Upon Scar mentioning the graveyard should be searched, MPH heads into the graveyard area, enticed by the interactive queue, since he hasn't seen it yet.
 
*Chessie nods in agreement with Scar's assessment, wondering if Mr Toad's ghost managed to somehow make off with the Mr Toad statue from the Animal Cemetery. The Cat disappears and quickly reappears, floating in the air, searching among the tombstones for anything amiss. It isn't long before he comes to one that looks a little too new.*

Chessie (calling out to the other detectives): 'I think what was the Haunted Mansion finally got it's 1,000th Happy ... or maybe not so happy ... Haunt. Come and see ... .'

*Still hovering in the air, the Cat is gesturing to a new epitaph in the graveyard that reads:

HERE LIES TIANA SUCH A BITTER END
BECAUSE A PRINCESS TOOK MY FRIEND
 
"Well that answers my initial answer, sigh... only fitting that this particular princess would be found not far from her Meet and Greet."

A new clue complete with a lymrick.

*Ghost Chip continues to search the surrounding graves in hopes of another clue.
 
Aurora arrives at Hm and hears about yet another princess death. She wonders what clues have been.burned by the fire and if any will remain once the fire OS put out. Aurora decides to sit on a bench as she feels a little faint. Both from another princess death and from and from a lack of food and sleep. Wondering How long it will be til the fire is under control she takes out her notebook and looks over her notes.
 
Crouching behind the nearest tombstone, Abu contemplates joining Carpet in the river to keep from being burnt. Feeling rather toasty, Abu shifts himself and tries to become smaller behind the stone. In doing so he hears a rustling noise under his left foot so he takes a look. He sees a small piece of paper sticking out so Abu picks it up to see what it is. It looks to be some sort of note but since Abu can't read he looks around for someone who can. Peering through the thick smoke, Abu spots Aurora parked on a nearby bench. Scampering through the gravestones, careful not to get singed, Abu hands Aurora the note which she reads aloud and then texts to everyone:

SO YOU FOUND MY BARGAINING CHIP
NO BIG DEAL, NOW HERE'S A TIP
BRING ME THE THING I WANT THE MOST
OR ALL OF YOU WILL BECOME A GHOST
I HAVE THE POWER TO DESTOY THIS PARK
PIECE BY PIECE TIL IT'S ALL DARK
