MG2:KILLER IN THE KINGDOM--the game starts
*When Scar tells everyone to spread out and look for any sign of trouble, the Cat just gives Scar a look that is impossible to decipher.*

Chessie: 'Scar, since when do we really have to look for trouble? Trouble just seems to find us ... or hadn't you noticed?'

*Now floating above to boat to get a better view of Kiara, still blissfully chasing the butterfly, the Cat gestures to the young lionness with his tail.*

Chessie: 'And the easier something appears, the more trouble it tends to be concealing. And doesn't this look easy?'
 
Toad has an eerie feeling that he may be next on the killer's list. With that in mind, he tells his crew to head out immediately and tells the other detectives a bit of information. Toad announces, "The killer is NOT from any movie based in Europe, USA, Canada, or Mexico."
"I wish you all well. I feel I'll be meeting the same fate as my ride. Look for me down by my statue at the Haunted Mansion."
 
Aurora is stunned to see Kiara chasing the butterfly without a care in the world. Aurora starts to look for clues and gets out of the boat. She is being extra cautiouss since her kind is starting to become an endangered species. As Scar starts to head toward Kiara to talk to her Aurora takes a moment and looks around. She is looking at where each of the detectives are at the moment.
 
*Scar pulls his niece aside and sets her down in the boat.*

SCAR*"You can relax now. Your mom is on her way....and finally she owes me her loyalty"

KIARA*"I'm ok Uncle Scar. I've been here having fun and singing with my new friends."

SCAR* "Who brought you here?"

KIARA* "Well Idon't really remember, Uncle Scar. I've been here awhile now and when I first came I had my eyes closed. I closed them for two reasons. At first I was a little frightened, but the voice was friendly and he promised me a sweet snack if I was good, so I was."

SCAR* "Well don't you worry." (Scar is only comforting Kiara because he wants something from Nala.) "We will still catch whoever it is that brought you here. I know you think he is a good guy, but he has done some bad things lately."

*Just then Scar hears toad exclaim that he has found something. He looks up just as Toad picks up something,.* "NO TOAD WAIT. IT COULD BE A TRA>>>>>"* But it's too late.*
 
We find ghost Chip haunting the backstage of fantasyland as he tries to think of a a particular link between each victim and the Princess Franchise. Most of the dead are heavily linked to it, though three of them other then the detectives are still of royalty(Pixar's and Kiara) but not affilliated with the franchise. Thoughts continue to a Princess Aurora's reasoning of possibly excluding Mulan from the possible victims list. "Even if Mulan might not be a princess in the traditional sense, by marrying a general, she is considered part of the upper Chinese Gentry class.

As Chip's non-corporeal body continues down backstage, he finds an open door behind the attraction It's a Small World. Looking in he finds shelves of child-like figurines all in an assortment of assembly and dress. He walk's down further entering what appears to be the African Set, Upon closer inspection he happens to see... Kiara!
 
Kevin finally see's what scar was looking at and it was Kiara. She is a little stunned that she was here there whole time and to think how many people did not notice her running and playing about and not looking like a machine...

Kevin could see the other detectives getting out of the boats to get clues and she starts to get out but her leg got caught and she cant get out..after a moment or two of struggling she finally free's herself but its too late to look for clues since she hears scar shout at toad about a trap..
 
Rafiki sees Kiara, thank gooodness she is safe. He sees her talking to her Great Uncle Scar. Simba would not be happy at all with this. I need to get her away from Scar to safety and back to Nala.

Rafiki is about to get out of the boat to get Kiara to join him when he hears Scar shout something about a trap to Toad. Rafiki dives back into the boat.
 
*Scar sees Toad pick up something from the African set. He yells.*"NO TOAD WAIT! IT COULD BE A TRAPP!!" *But it is too late as heavy AA Warthog comes crashing down cutting Scars warning short.*

*The AA Pumba rolls straight over Mr. Toad and crash lands into the water. The detectives look down and see a very flattened Mr. Toad.*

*Chessie is watching and listening from above the boat as Scar is talking to Kiara. Out of the corner of his eye, the Cat sees Mr Toad pick up something, which distracts Scar from his conversation with Kiara. The lion yells at Mr Toad that it could be a trap, but it's too late; the explosion goes off and the amphibian is crushed by the animatronic warthog.*

Chessie (staring at what's left of Mr Toad): 'I'm just crushed.'

*Chessie pauses as a grin spreads across his face.*

Chessie: 'No, wait ... he's crushed ... .'

*Despite the fact that one of their own has just died in another accident that probably wasn't an accident, the Cat watches Kiara from a distance. He wants to investigate both Toad's death and see about getting Kiara back, but Chessie suspects that something else could happen if someone else moves too quickly or too carelessly.*
 
Iago, proud to have made the discovery, realizes that the group must act quickly before another of them meets the same dead-end as Mr. Toad. The honey and cinnamon link still has him befuddled. Additionally, he's curious as to the nature of the trap that befell the unlucky amphibian.
 
Tink watches as scar puts kiara in the boat and as mr toad gets crushed by the warthog. it seems surreal to her that they find kiara and then lose mr toad all at the same time! she flies over to the area of the wart hog to look. with out touching anything she looks for any signs of tampering.
 
Aurora still looking out over the scene watches as Chessie floats around, Tink is flying above, Scar is not talking to Kiara and Mr Toad thinks he has found something but doesn't hear Scars warning and is crushed. Aurora is very sad for her frog friend. She goes over to where Mr. Toad was crushed and starts to look around. She finds what she thinks Mr. Toad had found it is a LARGE DARK/ GRAYISH COLORED FEATHER. Aurora is careful to pick up the feather and bag it for the lab. Aurora then moves very slowly back towards the boat IASW has tons of places where more traps could be set.

Iago knows something about feathers and thinks to himself, hmmmm, multiple types and colors. This sounds like a Native American headdress. However, Iago knows the killer cannot be from North America. Strange.
 
*Ghost Chip laments the flattened body of Mr. Toad, the current detectives have been cut in half from the beginning. "So many detectives gone already, will there be any left to solve the mystery so that I can rest in peace?"


OOC- Good luck on your trip wdwjuan, shame we didn't meet up at the contemporary PTN.
 
MPH is looking for clues in the attraction as Scar notices something. When it is discovered that Kiara is found, MPH is relieved but distrusting. MPH then sees Toad get flattened and is shocked, but not surprised. MPH starts looking around the area where the Animitronic was to see if anything can be found there.
 
*Still hovering above the boat, Chessie watches as Aurora picks up a LARGE DARK/GRAYISH COLORED FEATHER and puts it in an evidence bag. The Cat silently agrees that might have been what Toad thought he saw but doesn't think a feather was worth his life. Chessie still decides to continue watching from the boat, not convinced that all of the potential traps have been spring.*

OOC: wdwjuan/Sean, have a wonderful time at WDW, but before you go ... who did you falsely arrest?

*Scar takes the feather from Aurora.* " I will personally take this clue to the lab and see what the hold up is. I will stand there until THIS clue is analyzed and I have sme info for you. For now I want a full escort of Kiara to the lost children's center. Nala will meet you there."

Dodo is so surprised to see that "she" is none other than the missing Kiara. How wonderful, she is safe and now he can sing along with the rest of the happy children to celebrate. He bursts into song and is heartily singing as Scar puts Kiara in the boat. She seems to be find and Scar tells everyone to fan out and look the killer. Dodo hops off the little boat and heads toward the African scene before him. Just before he gets there, he hears Scar call out a warning. Dodo cannot hear what Scar is saying due the fact he is singing so loud and so he turns to ask Scar to repeat that.

Suddenly there is an enormous crash. Dodo jumps about six feet in the air and squawks loudly. He looks back just in time to see poor Toad - squashed flat as a pancake. What a horrible sight to behold. Hopefully Anton doesn't have any recipes for road kill in his repertoire. That would just not be fair to poor Toad.

On the platform, he sees the feather just before Tink picks it up and puts it in the evidence bag. Poor Toad, killed for a clue. Dodo decides that rather than join the escort for Kiara, he will continue to search for more clues. Children just don't understand him, regardless of their species. Scar gives him one of "those" looks so Dodo makes a hasty decision to join the escort. Hopefully Kiara won't notice that he is there and start trying to talk to him.

As Dodo goes with the rest of the escort he wonders if this feather is the same as the other feather they found soaked in blood. Maybe the lab will able to tell something.

**OOC Sorry I haven't posted, the flu is about to do me in.
 
*Chessie turn as a few of the detectives escort Kiara to the Lost Children's Center. He hopes nothing goes wrong and the young lioness is soon reunited with Nala. Once the party has left with Kiara, the Cat turns to Scar, a questioning grin on his face, clearly asking the lion, what next?*

OOC: The flu is just miserable. I hope you feel better soon.
 
* Scar looks at Chessie and can't believe that somehow they could be related. * "Well Mr. smiles...You can go this way or you can go that way, but I'm off to the lab. I guarantee to get some results and quick on this latest clue. It could be a case breaker or it could just lead to more confusion. We shall have to see. "
