MG2:KILLER IN THE KINGDOM--the game starts
MPH can't believe that Pumba is washed away as the water turns on. MPH tries to focus on what is happening and, like others, wonders why the water rushed in so quickly. And, we've not determined how it was dried up. MPH think that instead of this being normal operation that there may be more involved. MPH, aloud "I wonder how the water could be diverted away to drain the ride, but more importantly how it would return at such a quick rate. It would seem that it filled at a quicker rate than normal operation." MPH ponders where the water could have been stored that it would fill the ride so quickly, so he heads to the top of the mountain, wondering if there is a water tank somewhere above the ride.
 
Not having moved from his spot outside, Anton watched as the water turns back on in the attraction in front of him. Those closely watching would notice a barely discernible change as his eyebrows raised. His stare watches as the plumped pig topples over the water fall to his death. Anton sighs as he realizes two tasty dishes have been consumed by this crime scene.

Not long after, the ghost of Pumbaa rises from the briars and says that he smelled something sweet near it's a Small World. Always curious for a culinary delight, he heads that direction.
 
MPH looks around the attraction and can't find anything out of the ordinary. He sits down where he is to start reading clues from his notes. MPH gets curious about the sweet smell near Small World and decides to go over there and look around. On the way over, he sees Anton, who of course acts like MPH doesn't exist, except to be eaten and hash browns.
 
Rafiki, still sad to see the passing of his friend Pumbaa. Just as his thoughts are how to break to the news to Timon, Pumbaa's ghost appears, a smell of lemon & cinnamon.

Anton, any idea what that can mean? Lemon & cinnamon a strange combination.

Rafiki then decides to research that to see if he can find a link to that one. Taking out his iPhone he starts googling to see what links he can find.
 
Lemons and cinnamon....reminds Iago of incense and peppermints. Oh, Strawberry Alarm Clock, what happened to you?

Now, lemons and cinnamon? Could someone have been drinking Iago's favorite Lemon slushie and eating those delicious cinnamon-roasted almonds at the same time? Could this be someone cooking Tandoori food? That's more cumin and tamarind, but still. Iago wonders how he knows this stuff...

Iago's mind wanders back to lemons, switches to the Lemon Pipers, and start humming Green Tamborine....
 
Dodo is way ahead of Rafiki and has discovered the there is tea, cookies, mixture for sweet potatoes, and many other things including acne cream that can be done with lemon and cinnamon. Maybe the killer likes tea maybe with cookies? But that is a very strange mixture to be sure. Perhaps Rafiki or Anton can find something different that can be done with the lemon and cinnamon.

Dodo adds the lemon and cinnamon to the notes and tries to understand how these notes could ever possibly make sense on this case. Perhaps he needs to mull all this over in his mind and try to put something together.
 
Toad and crew wrap up there investigation and then head out for some food. They stop at Pecos Bill and order food while Mole sprints to the topping bar and begins to guzzle the cheese sauce. They eat their food and head off to meet up with the other detectives.
 
*Chessie, who still is floating safely out of range of the newly released rushing waters, listens closely to what Pumba's ghost can remember.*

Chessie: 'First mermaid sushi ... now lemon and cinnamon. Does someone have a thing for food, or at least, household products, maybe?'

*The Cat pauses as he pointedly looks at all the water that now surrounds them.*

Chessie: 'But maybe you should consider what happens when an accident might not really be an accident.'
 
Anton arrives on scene and smells what the pig had been describing. Not something he would call overwhelming delicious smelling. His mother had done so much better when she baked in his old country home. Regardless he goes in to search where it's coming from. Smells like something that needs a bad review to put it in it's place.
 
*Scar sees the detectives head out in different directions. Some to the control room, some for a snack and most to It's A Small World. All of these seem like a good idea, but he worries that this is part of the killer's plan, divide and conquer or kill in this case. He decides that following that LEMON and CINNAMON smell might be the best bet, so he leaves and heads for It's a Small World.*



TRIVIA in 2 parts...bith must be correct.

WHO WAS THE "ORIGINAL" SPONSOR OF IT'S A SMALL WORLD(not the Tokyo version) and WHO IS THE CURRENT SPONSOR OF IASW IN TOKYO DISNEYLAND?

Abu finally finishes with his bannanas and burps loudly. Seeing several patrons glare at him, he utters a quick "owwy" to them and quickly leaves the bakery. Squinting in the bright sunlight, Abu waits for his eyes to adjust and then decides maybe he should check his iPhone for any messages since it has been unusually quiet.

OOC: No clue for Abu :'(
 
Aurora and Tink are at the control room and both look at each other and take a deep breath before opening the door. Especially since the last time our team inspected an attraction control room there was a bomb. One last breath and Aurora opens the door. Tink flies in to look around. Aurora looks careful behind the door. Nothing looks out of the ordinary.

Aurora and Tink's phones buzzz signaling a text. Its from Scar saying to head to Small World. Aurora and Tink decide that meeting up with the others is the best idea. SM is giving Aurora the creeps right now anyways. So they head off . . . .
 
*Chessie looks around at what's left of Splash Mountain and agrees that there is nothing more to be done here, especially with the water flooding the place. The Cat gives Scar a look that's a bit difficult to decipher when the lion suggests that they continue their investigation at It's a Small World.*

Chessie (grinning, to nobody in particular): 'So now that we've just escaped death by cascading water by investigating another water-filled attraction? Just keep your eyes out for another accident that may not be an accident or we may have another accidental death that may not be an accident.'

*Despite his words, the Cat agrees that the investigation must follow the clues and It's a Small World is as good a place as any to continue. Chessie follows along with everyone else to the attraction.*

*As Scar approches the entrance to the IASW attraction he notices the scent that Pumba's ghost mentioned. It seems to be faint and fading away. What he can smell thiugh is that the cinnamon is just a little stronger than the lemon. He also seems to notice a slight honey fragrance mixed in, but that may be just his imagination.*

*SCAR:"Everyone proceed with caution. The morgue is already full and we don't want anymore deaths."


OOC*The rest of my day is busy. I will be on the tattoo table for the next 6 hours and then have an hour lesson. But I will post tonight when I get home. Not sure,but I have a gut feeling that someone may make an arrest soon. No reason to feel that way, but just my instinct about the game.
 
Toad and crew, with full stomachs, leave Splash Mountain and head over to IASW. Toad adds a tambourine playing chicken to his collection while Mole add a vulture. They meet up with the other detectives and notice the odd lemon and cinnamon scent. They start investigating things, but are hesitant to get on the ride after all the recent violence.
 
*Approaching IASW, Chessie cautiously sniffs the air. He, too, can smell the cinnamon and lemons, but possibly honey.*

Chessie: 'Whoever is behind this has cooked up a recipe for disaster ... with some interesting choices for seasonings. Lemon and honey are common for a cold remedy, but where does the cinnamon come into this?'

*The Cat follows a few of the detectives into the attraction and carefully starts investigating.*
 
Kevin must have passed out while at splash mountain as she wakes up and notices everyone is gone and wonders what the hell happened..

she sends out a text to ask where people have gone -

*where have you all got to..I need to be told where we are heading*
 
Aurora and tink arrive at Its a small world but do not see anyone waiting outside. They smell the same aromas descrived by the other detectives but can't quite place it. Aurora recievs Kevins text and replies for her to met them at IASW. Aurora dn Tink head inside.
 
Rafiki still googling the cinnamon and lemon and not getting anywhere fast decides to head over with the other detectives to Small World.

As he gets nearer he really notices that the smell is getting stronger but still cannot work out why it is so strong there.

I think that we need to be very careful here, something is not right here, but I cannot quite put my finger on it. Everyone please be careful and go slowly we don't want to disturb anything here.
 
Kevin phone vibrates and she checks her phone and see's a text from Aurora -

*meet us all at IASW, something is wrong there*

She starts to run over to Its a small world, and she notices the strong scent of cinnamon and lemon but she definatley smells a sweet scent of honey...she wonders is winnie the pooh around here since he loves himself a bit of honey..

She notices other detectives head into IASW and follows the others inside and hopes nothing terrible happens here.

* A boat load of guests are surprised as they look back while loading their boat and see a most likely group of characters loading the boat behind them.*

Scar="Everyone keep an eye out for anything unusual AND NO SINGING!!!"
 
As Abu is taking his phone out, he thinks he sees something incredibly shiny on the other side of the street and dashes over to investigate. He skids to a stop on the hot pavement and looks around for what he thinks he spotted. Success! He found a brand new super shiny dime. Congratulating himself, he takes his phone out again and sees that he has "NO NEW MESSAGES". Perplexed, Abu trys to decide what to do next.
 
Iago smells the honey and immediately thinks of Pooh. There's no way that bumbling bear could be behind this, and there's really nobody evil or magic enough in his 100-acre woods to do this. Still, Small World is just around the corner from Pooh, or should he say, Mr. Toad's former Wild Ride.

Iago sits in a boat eagerly anticipating the Asian room of Small World. He also loves Africa because it reminds him of home. Iago thinks....
