Just thought I would share my first pin board - I put this together around 2004 and added pins as I got new ones.

I found this shadow box frame at our local Ross store, replaced the inside with a canvas board that I bought at a crafts store and covered it with black velvet fabric. I wanted to keep the pin backs on the pins so using the covered canvas board lets me do that. Before putting the backboard on I put a piece of ½†foam inside for cushioning.

Hi everyone,

My mom wanted me to come on here on her behalf and thank everyone for the kind responses :) She has been going through a great deal lately as her mother suffered a stroke in May, and it has been quite the emotional roller coaster ever since (things have been looking on the very positive side though as she is progressing every day despite the long road still ahead :hs:).

She comes and visits every now and then still (have to get our pin fix, right? ;D) but she hasn't been able to have the time to post. She did see everyone's responses though and wanted me to let everyone know she is every appreciative and happy to share her collection pics with all of you. Hopefully she'll be able to share more soon =)

Thanks again guys!
