LOVE this pin! ^_^

I will be picking one up for myself and a friend on here who I am helping out, and I will probably order another 2 and keep them for trades later on! If anyone wants to make me a pre-trade offer, though... just PM me! LOVE this pin, I saw the movie a week or so ago over here in the US... it is so beautiful, I can almost guarantee all the Ukers yet to see the film will LOVE it <3
 
@Stitch2814.... not meaning to butt in on anything, but I'd just like to say that UK pins are sticking around a lot recently, so it is no problem for us to be able to order them, whereas US pins are soooooo much harder to get, and take a lot more effort to obtain... I was in line 4 hours for the Lion King PODM, and I helped out people at cost! UK pins are so much easier to get nowadays, so I think sticking on extra costs is not appropriate for the UK pins, perhaps for the US pins people like to stick on a little extra for their effort... aka camping out in alleys and waking up at 5am LOL! Anyways, just my opinion I don't want to cause any bother, so just relax and remember pin trading is a fun hobby! <3

I definitely agree with you. I have maybe about 2 to 3 people in the USA who help me out at cost but no one has ever done the same for me (except those 3) which is a big shame.
 
My friend was meant to be at WDW for the release of the Tangled PODM pin. Sadly she didn't end up staying there, and so she passed on the information to another person. I thought that this meant that this person would get me the pin at cost instead, but when I PMed them, I was told "that deal was with her, not with me".

I'm sure that this person will read this, so I just want to add that there's no hard feelings in regards to that. I only really wanted a cell of Mother Gothel or Rapunzel's parents. I'm just providing an example of one person who was willing to get me a pin at cost and one person who just wasn't.

Also, I must say, I find it funny that one of the people who clearly isn't impressed with what Danny has said is someone that I have PMed in regards to a Lion King PODM pin. I highly doubt that they would let me have one of their 18 Lion King PODM pins at cost, considering what pins they wanted from me for a cell featuring Scar. Again, no hard feelings in regards to that, as I said in reply to that person. That person is entitled to ask for whatever they like, based on how they have valued that pin. Just like UK people are entitled to ask for whatever they like for the Brave pin, based on how they've valued it.

Just FYI, i am giving at least 4 lion king POMH at cost, but not the scar scene as my boyfriend went all over wdw running around, pushing people to be able to get at least one extra scare scene, excuse me for asking too much for a pin that took a whole day for my boyfriend to find. and i stated in the Pm, "all i am trying to do is getting what i think the scar pin is worth" and also FYI, the people that message me that doesn't live close to the parks and just wanted a nice scene, not a specific one, i did pick up extras at cost for them without a problem, have they ever pick something up for me, no, do i expect them to, no, it was just a favor, so like i said, i am giving uot POMH lion king pins out of my 18 at cost to the people that already PM me, however am i giving my only extra scar POMH signed by the artist at cost, no. sorry for being selfish and caring about my amazing boyfriend's time and efford to find me nice scenes for me to keep. only people who were at the release would understand how much stress this releases bring and how time consumming it is.

and again, all i said about danny's comment was, that if you can help then you should help and the fact that some people won't help you get the pin at cost(that is if you don't have to wait 4 hours in line or wake up super early to start running around from location to location to buy these pins) shouldn't stop you from helping others when all you have to do is order online and not wait in like for hours.

once again, no hard feeling, just my opinion and as you see i am not afraid to be put in the spot because i got nothing to hide.
 
I have an extra Tangled POMH pin and if you did not get one, please PM me . I'd be more than happy to trade for the Brave pin .
pushing people ??? ... No drama but has that what these POMH pins have brought , the lion in all of us out . :lol:

Are you serious??? I hope you realize I Picked up 20 Tangled Podm's for people at cost and I only kept 1 as a trader too... If you would have asked me about a Podm before the release Or if Laura would have asked me to pick one up for you before the release I would have hands down. Laura asked me to SWAP with her If I found a Mother Gothel or a Parents scene for you which would have been fine with me. I was happy to do so, I have helped an endless amount of people on this forum and continue to do so. Here you are painting me in a bad light again when i thought we worked this all out already? Why are you still acting like this? I'm confused...Because of what happened with you I have been picking up extras for a just in case scenario like what happened with you. If you need a Lion King podm I can help as I picked u a few extras. Please, dont confuse what happened with tangled as me not wanting to help you out, I just couldnt. I was tapped out at 20 and It was a Hard release that left me broken and tired with a charlie horse in my calf. I am so Happy this series is ending this year. I am shocked and saddened that you are dragging this out... It was a simple miss-communication issue from what I remember. (But my memory is not the best, and I honestly thought this was burried now)

I am not shy, so don't try calling me out on this forum when I know I do the best I can possibly do to help everyone out.

Guessing you didn't read my whole post, as I did actually state that I was only really wanting a cell Mother Gothel or of Rapunzel's parents. So you can keep your Tangled pin and your attempt at causing drama to yourself.

Simbanino, that's totally fine. That's why I said in my post that you're fully entitled to ask for whatever you like in regards to your pins. I was simply making the point that Uk people should feel like they can do the same. You seemed to be particularly against what Danny said, and I just found it funny, considering what you had asked for for the Scar cell. That's the choice you made though, to try and get a lot for it instead of selling it for cost. If hardly any Uk people choose to sell at cost, that's entirely up to them. If they try and get a bunch of pins for it, that's also up to them. That's their choice, and it's not to be dictated by anyone else.

I don't think that Danny was literally encouraging people not to help others, he simply advised that Uk people should think twice before giving up their extra Brave pin at cost.

Laz, I had no idea she was speaking about you until you spoke up . I do not have a parents scene or Mother Gothel . As you know I have Tangled Gondola and the beautiful close up Rapunzel leaning against the gondola . Her face is priceless .
Laz, I would very much like an LK POMP, but we can trade at the event . >3

I do Understand where Danny is comming from too but I know he does not mean that towards everyone here in the US, there are a few that Ask for everything at Cost and in turn do not offer the same in return. THis frustration has happened to me too, I'm sure at one time or another it has happened to all of us. <3 He did not mean any harm by that statement. THings just don't always come accross in the best light through text. :/ <3

Here is my two cents, once in a blue moon the uk gets a pin that everyone his uncle and his best mates dog wants. if FOR ONCE we don't pick up at cost I think we are entitled to that FOR ONCE. Its all well and good saying oh but we only get one a month. We. in the uk, haven't had a truly tradable pin since the stupid gondola and that was in JANUARY that was EIGHT months ago. You guys whine because you 'only' get a pin once a month, try once every 8 or once a year for a good trader then come complaining. BTW you don't get one pin a month, you get podms, mystery sets, ltds, new core pins, new HMS..the list goes on!

I am perfectly happy to pick up uk pins for people, but please, for once, don't call us greedy, or keniving because we finally, FINALLY, get a pin that we may be able to trade for something off our wants list, instead of trading or buying up to get something. It is hard work pin trading in the UK because it costs so much money to post pins to the US now, I posted 4 out today and it cost me £3.82 thats nearly $8 just to send 4 pins to you guys. So yeah if I don't buy the brave pin at cost, I'm sorry but I just wanna have a really good trader in my possession for a change.

The day PODMS come to the UK I will be lined up with the rest of the UK nutters I assure you, if they brought our stupid pins to stores I would be there, as I was for the tangled release, I was in liverpool very early that day to guarantee myself a couple of those bad boys, but that was the LAST time I had a decent pin for trade and I really wanna have a pin that I can ask for something special off my wants list. That doesn't make me a bad guy that just means that maybe I can complete a collection, get a pin I am dying for or finally get that one pin that no blighter will trade me for on the pinpics, maybe the brave pin will be the pin that lets me finally trade for a HTF... I has the hopes they are high hehe <3

On a serious note. We should be able to state how we feel without making a general statement relecting everyone. I agree, Danny was speaking about the few people who have done been greedy. Not all Americans are as awesome as Laz and I but.... they try lol. jk

Last time I checked, "calling someone out" meant naming and shaming them. Using a certain situation as an example without naming the person is just that: simply speaking of something that has happened without using names so as avoid any sort of drama. I can't believe how easily and how eager some people are on here to take offence. Are we not all adults? Can we not all share our opinions and views without someone getting angry or upset? Really?

NOTHING of what I said painted you in a bad light. If I really wanted to do that, I could've done it with my feedback to you in regards to our trade. I'm just not like that though, just like your not. So for you to have escalated this matter after me using what happened as a faceless example (which could've been anyone, so I don't know why you felt the need to defend yourself), it's just unreasonable to me. I'm just going to leave it at that.
 

nobody here has said that Uk traders shouldn't ask whatever they want for the brave pin, so i don't know where you coming from when it comes to that. all i was pointing out about Danny's comment was that we(EVERYBODY) shouldn't not help people just because others don't help us. if it doesn't cost you a lot to help someone you should help them out, if u(not talking directly to you, just FYI)want to trade your new brave then you can ask whatever you want for it, is the other trader's choice whether they want to trade or not. but to say that i didn't wanted to give you my scar pin at Cost, out of my 18 POMH that is making a false statement my lady, i do not have 18 extras to trade, i am keeping around 14, and 4 i am giving at price to people that are waiting patiently in line for me to give them the scenes to pick from, so i am taking 1 scar pin from my 14 that i like very much and i am also taking the only timon,pumba and simba pin from my collection to use as a trader and you get upset and call me out because i do not give it to you at price, no maam, i don't think that is making me unfair not not helping people here, i helped people with this release, and i am helping 4 more people with my extras and they are happy with what they are getting because all my scenes are nice scenes, but then you come here asking for an specific scene(scar) and expect me to give it to you at cost, well not me, that scene was hard to find and i won't give it up that easily(i am sure most people won't either), and with that attitute and calling people out and causing unnecesary drama won't help you get that scene at cost at least not from me, if you were to ask me to get you a POMH for you i would had before the release but if you are asking for an specific scene i would had said the same as i told the other, i will do my best but be happy with what you get.

i don't need or want the brave pin, and people are entitled to ask whatever they want for it, but don't get upset because i didn't give you my only scar scene at cost, maybe if you had a different attitute i would had help you in a good day, but not with that attitute that demands people to give it to you at cost, that is just crazy. is like asking for a tangled scene with all characters in it at cost, only a close friend of yours will give it to you at cost.

best wishes and hope you can get your scar scene, if i had 18 scar scenes, believe or not i would give them at cost but not my only one.
