I'm sitting here in the UK feeling SO frustrated grrrrrrrrr
the post office has really let me down this year
1) my secret santa has not yet arrived, i posted it dec 6th, before last posting day gto the USA and its still not there, so sorry
2)1 won a pascal trade auction posted 6th dec, although my pin has been received ,my win is still missing in the post system and this was UK post
3)i won a trade auction for a rapunzel pin posted mine 10th dec ,its not here and i have not heard that mine has arrived yet
4)i purchesed 3 pins from a seller on this forum in the USA, they posted them on the 9th dec, still not here and they were for christmas gifts!
5)i made a high end trade with the lovely chipanddale and although my pins have arrived from the USA , my pack to him has not ,and i paid extra to send it AIRSURE to guarantee delivery,these pins are for his mum for christmas, so sorry once again it seems its stuck in customs
SO come on the post office ,this really is not good enough,

That sucks It's a bummer that it's out of your control though....maybe on the 24th(the deadline for the SS) you can message your SS and tell them that it's on the way!) I dont know what to suggest about anything else though. Hope things start looking up, and Happy Holidays!!
 
Yeah mail is horribly slow here in Canada too. I made a trade with someone about a month ago (not pins but stickers) and she received one of mine fine but it waiting on the other one. I still have yet to receive hers (she lives in the Philippines).

Mail is always generally slow here in Canada, regardless of the holidays.
 
holy poop so i am not lone. Sad and freaking each day....MY 2 trades ith folks from here to the UK...noth got my pins but 3 weeks and i have not gotten either package......i also have 4 other trades floating out in nowhere land. I ask people to use a DC so i can at least see where my stuff is. My SS got to my person but i have nada as of yet. Maube today i will get a butt load of crap!!!! fingers crossed
 
I'm sorry to hear about your post office woes. Hopefully they organize themselves over in customs and everything gets to its final destination before Christmas! If not, they'll make great New Years gifts!
 


I know! It takes forever to get here, so I couldn't trade or buy for anything on my ss wants list, there would've been no way of t getting here in time!
 
I know the feeling as well and Im in ireland. Post been getting to where I have been sending to but being slow coming to me. We dont get post on saturdays either so that does not help this time of year.
 
You are NOT alone, I am having the same problems! Royal Mail are sooo bad at this time of year its unreal! I'm still waiting on a vinyl from the US from over 3 weeks ago now and the only post that seems to be getting through is the recorded signed for deliveries within the UK.
 
hey guys, its 12:30pm PST here in California. and some USA post offices don't finish delivering mail until like 5pm or later on the last posting day before Christmas. They got a heavy load today. Not saying for sure the packages you sent to the USA will arrive today, but there is that chance. Delivery before Christmas isn't over yet.
 
The shortest time its taken for me to get a pin from the UK was 2 1/2 weeks. The longest was 8. Needless to say, I'm not the Royal Mail or USPS biggest fan.

Shipping to the UK can take up to 2 months, or maybe the USPS in MD just sucks for some reason... While it sucks the pins might not get there for Christmas, they will eventually come.
 
My usual if I ship to UK is about 7-10 days. canada took 2 weeks or so. and Europe usually takes 2-3 weeks. The same timeing seems to be right for packages getting to me from those countries.

And I totally forgot... There is mail delivery on christmas eve in most places.... Crossing my finger for you folks!
 
Ok, so tomorrow is Christmas eve,maybe the post office have made a deal with santa to employ the same time suspension technique as the big guy to be able to deliver ALL the outstanding packages they have left to deliver

This year Christmas Eve is a federal holiday. So if you shipped pins with the US Postal Service and they have not arrived, you would be getting them until after Christmas.
My dad is a federal employee, otherwise I wouldn't know this.

These say that the post office is open tomorrow until noon, and that they will deliver as they normally do and that the federal holiday does not apply to the postal service.

Actually, in the US, the post office has limited hours and is still open and will still deliver mail:

It also isn't a federal holiday in the US. See Office of Personnel Management:

I don't know if the federal government has unions, but various unions in various local governments (state, county, city) will typically negotiate Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve as holidays if the actual holiday (Christmas and New Year's Day) fall on a Tuesday.
