While I was down in Florida, one Saturday we went to a flea market/antique fair (Rennigers for the locals). Found these. Each book cost $12, and I bought 3 books.

The first one is more on the boring side, and also included this pin that my parents have been looking for, forever

pin6929

The other 2 books, I kept having to look at to make sure I wasn't seeing things.

So in a little over a year, I went from having none of the "MSEP Farewell pins" to having all 3, and from having no Wet Paint pins to having 2 of them. They might not be considered grails to most anymore, but the point is they used to be, and if a pin is meant to find you, it will.

That's an awesome find! The best I've found was a set of Fantasia pins in a tin at Goodwill here in Montana! Never give up! One never knows what one will find!

Congrats! Thanks for the reminder. I've been guilty of jumping the gun on a pin only to find it later for a fraction of the cost. Live and learn, I guess. :)

Congrats again!

$12 and you got a wet paint in the bunch, man i want your luck!! it took me 10 years and add a zero on the end of that 12 dollars to get mine.

Amazing find! Congratulations!

When I hear of people finding things like this at flea markets, I always wonder what the story is behind them. If the old owners were collectors, or inherited them and didn't realize what they had, etc.. Perhaps they just weren't as crazy as us, haha!
