So which is it? You are contradicting yourself. First you say that addresses were practicly on the envelopes and now you say that he never made a concrete offer???? Gotta tell you, my pins would be nowhere near an envelope unless I knew what I was getting. Why the hell would you "hold" a pin for someone that hadn't even made an offer?

Again, you just need to back off this one.


 
This is not directed to Becca or anybody else in particular, but I wanted to see if anyone indeed believes these so called "anonymous" threads are really anonymous??

IMO at the end, more dirt gets dished and increased (and sometimes a bit thwarted) rumors circulate.

I wish our mods would stop these "I am bashing you, but I will divulge the name only in PMs" kinda posts

I would also like to ask Becca, if she ever consulted with our mods about this. After all, they are here to help us.
 
This is stupid.

Laz, I am sorry that you felt targeted and called out, that was not my intent.

This is a really small issue blown out of control, something that seams to happen a lot on these boards. I will not be commenting on this anymore as it is my personal opinion that it is time to move on. I really dislike drama and this is too much of it.

So, he went out and found one of your grails and added other pins to it and you felt that he was taking advantage of YOU??? When you add the value of the pins he had for you did they equal or surpass $90? Because that logo sat on ebay for quite awhile at $90 BIN with no takers.

You may need to step back and re-evaluate just who was trying to take advantage of whom...

This absolutely isnt worth your time. People know u - and people are getting to know her. I know u are mad right now . . . . but u have to let it go because especially in this case - it really doesnt matter. :0)
 


I don't think this stuff is "anonymous" at all. It is just a passive agressive way to let people know something happened and then sit back and wait for all the PMs from people wanting to know who it is. You see posts all the time saying "please let me know who this person is so that I can put the on my 'do not trade' list". It is gossipy and wrong and if the other person doesn't stand up for themselves or even see the post their name gets drug through the mud.
 
I usually stay clear of "forum-drama", but I have dealt with Laz before and he is such a great guy. I actually "held" a Pascal LE 250 for him, and he was determined to raise the funds in order to pay for it. We planned for a week, but he got the money in three days. He was always really, really nice and super grateful. In the end, I am really glad you got the pins you needed Laz, and that you didn't have to give an arm and a leg for them.

I do wish this thread was closed already though. It really does put a damper on the forum atmosphere.

I am Sorry for all of this, you all know me not to be the type to do this or give into this, but I guess now I know how it feels to be on the recieving end of something wrongful like this.

Now who to believe...

-The generous, trustworthy, kind member who is nothing but nice to everyone...

OR

-The new member who has been accused of scamming, lying, being greedy, and has obviously really hurt the trusted member.

What a tough decision...


And what I didn't understand from the very beginning...If your "acquaintance" Izze had a hard-to-find LE 100 Thumper pin you want, and you had the Brave logo pin she desperately wanted back since she gave hers to a foster child (I'm sure this little tidbit is true...)...why didn't you just trade with her? You could have given it to her boyfriend (who you work with), and he could have given it to her...you would have saved postage and everything!

Oh yeah...because Izze probably doesn't even exist.

Mods, if you have any decency, please close this thread. Two members are not going to settle this in a public forum and the rest of us don't want to participate. This needs to just end and go away. I do not know Becca, but I do know Laz. And we all have different ideas about what is a "fair" trade. I think at this point we need to just close this and be done with the discussion. Thanks.
