Oswald Pins

Not an Oswald collector BUT. I am glad Disney finally got the "rights" back for him a few years ago.

He is really a VERY IMPORTANT part of Disney history and he is really the character "that started it all". He is the reference in "Saving Mr. Banks" when Walt (Tom Hanks) travles to London to talk with Ms. Travers about the rights to Mary Poppins. Walt says to her "I know what its like to lose control over a chacter you love and created" (sic) referring to Oswald when Walt lost the rights to Pat Powers and/or Mr. Mintz.

Good old Oswald is an important part of Disney history!!

As an Oswald fan living in Florida, I'm very disappointed that the Oswald HM pins are DL only. Does Disney not understand he's loved all over the country? I've only ever seen two or three types of Oswald pins in WDW so the others in my collection have been bought either here or on eBay.

I would be happy to trade you HM Oswald pin set for the HM Pascal pin set. It would take some time for us to collect them all and weed out scrappers, but I am willing to try if you are!

Argh! I love the DL and WDW ones and the pressed penny one too. I can't afford all of these! Then there's that nice one from Japan and and and.............................

I had to pull my DLR Oswald pin out and check for the error (it's there). I wonder if they will pull them and fix it?

Really excited to be going to Disneyland in a couple of weeks (my trips are usually just to World). Really hoping to collect the HM set. Has anyone seen it in the parks yet?

Definitely. I'll be at WDW at least 4 times this year, so I'll be sure to be on the lookout for the Pascal set.
