Oh man, I was worried about this one. I've heard the stories, saw it in person. Supposedly Disney wasn't allowed to put "rose parade" on their pin without going through the Tournament of Roses committee so they only handed these to a select few people. I had to trade an arm and leg for it and will cringe if someone finds a box of 100 of these things but I have one now, that's what counts!

Had to trade the entire WDI Cars Land christmas tree set for this 1 single pin. I offered every pin in my books, Cars 2 marquees, Duffy Aulani, you name it. She only wanted cars pins in return. I thought I was SOL and dug in my backpack for anything to give her. I found a bag I forgot I had. A good buddy got me the full set of christmas tree pins and there they were. I layed them out and she asked for it all. Didn't even hesitate, said "you can keep the bag too."
Thankfully a friend went to WDI yesterday and was able to get me a replacement set of the Christmas Trees so I am back to needing my 3 below to be a Cars Land completionist. (Oh, and the two new Jessica's, Flo's V8 outfit and Luigi's Flying Tires outfit."

OMG...you are so lucky. I dont even have the full christmas tree set and I'm trying to complete that as well! ugh I need CM friends! A cars land completionist?!?!?! omgggggg i am so jelly! Im not even half way there!
 
Cool!!! You onow whats funny is me and my friend went on new years day. Some lady walked up and had it. She almost traded she. She got it because ger grandpa was the president of the rode parade
 
Don't get me wrong, that is an awesome pin, I've seen it in person and I have it on my want list but the media day pins for Cars land and Buena Vista Street are made much nicer. I think the detail in them is fair better

I own all of the media day and press pins they made for Cars Land and Buena Vista st. I think those pins satisfy the style and theme of each attraction but since this represents an actual real float made entirely of roses, they did pretty good recreating it. Those other pins were free reign to design what they felt like. I have noticed a lot of the media/press pins all have the same slider feature, gold waffle back. The Red Car Trolley press pin has the trolley as a slider. The Cars Land one has Lightning McQueen slider, and the rose parade has Mater.
