Pin bags or boards or...?
I have no adequate places to put a pin board, that's why I store mine in pin bags. If I did I would use boards. I forgot to mention I am planning on keeping specific collections on themed lanyards eventually.

I keep my entire collection in 3 large pin bags, and I keep my traders in one pin binder and one small Disney shopping bag. I keep my not-so good traders in the binder and my better traders, on their cards, in the bag, but I plan on switching that around whenever I have time.

I would really like to make displays for my Lumpy, Frozen, Tangled, and some Tink sets I have. My pin bags are overflowing, and I'd like to make some really nice displays for them :)

Boards for our keepers bag and binders for our traders. We don't see the point in keeping them if we can't see them. Even our PODMs are in shadow boxes.

Love your Sleeping Beauty frame!! Did you take the glass out or keep it in?

I have a pin bag from the park with my small collections in. Pins are off the cards. My in park Hidden Mickey traders are just in a plastic baggie, my LE traders are on the card in a pin binder.

And my super special Sleeping Beauty collection is in a frame on my wall. I also have a frame of Disney Park attraction pins that are on a map of the park.

funny story!

once apon a time we decided to collect PODMs and we had enough to fill a shadow box and when as we were planning it and getting ready to frame, Karl stood up and stood on the glass XD

traders I keep in the bag. my collection I display. whats the point of all the hard work if you hide them away? I paint canvas boards and display my collection on them.

the pictures are old now, ive managed to fill my hercules one and the hades one is getting crowded. but here is what I do.

Right now I have one pin board, for some of my Ariel pins. It was going to be for all but then I painted an underwater background so obviously human Ariel pins couldn't live there... and then I decided just water was too easy to paint and did this instead, so I didn't want to put on ALL of my mermaid pins and cover it completely... so, here are some of my favorite mermaid Ariel pins :)

Wow! The Herc boards!!! I looooooove these! Soooooo awesome!!

Due to recent acquisitions my collection has overgrown it's storage space (the shopping bag from the park)! How do you store/display your pins? And due you keep them on the card or no? Thanks in advance!

I ran into this problem fairly recently myself and we ended up getting cork boards to put our favorite collections on. Our books are still loaded up but now they're a little more organized and our keeper collections are separate, plus we can see them a lot more easily since they're on the boards now. As far as the cards, I do keep the cards but it's really just because I don't like messing with things too much. If I get it with a card, I keep it with the card. If not, I don't sweat it.

You painted that?????? It's amazing!!!!

I tried to print a undersea background for my Ariel pins but Costco said it was copyrighted. It had nothing Disney on it!!!

THAT'S A PAINTING?!?!?!? Someone slap me (figuratively...okay, maybe literally if I can touch that board ) That is amazing!

On the Costco note, yeah, you gotta go to Staples or Office Max. I literally get photos of Disney characters printed out and they don't give a flying poop.

This is my pin display currently. I want to look at them everyday so it's better to have them in a frame then in a pin bag ;-)

I'm totally impressed! Tomorrow's project will be to find a cork board! Thanks for sharing I love seeing them all!

3 cork boards, a shadow box, two lanyards, a small pin book bought on eBay for like $15,and most of my traders are now in a custom pin book I made out of an old cd binder and foam paper (I admittedly stole the idea from a trader I met at Disneyland whom I told I would always credit whenever I was asked about where I got the idea from)

I used to use pin bags but decided I'd rather be able to see them more easily so I switched to Shadow Boxes a couple of years ago ...
