Pin Karma, a brief lesson from Mickeys Circus

PIN Karma- The general accepted defenition is doing good things with your pins, results in GREAT pins coming to you.
Example--Jrdnsmom post that young Jrdn is puttin out his first trade, so I happend to be lurking just as she post, and offer my entire trader line, lock stock and barrel, why?
Because Im going to Mickey circus in a few days from than, and NOTHING says Pin karma like children, I am not the only to respond,as many folks here on DPF have kind hearts<not me iM a villain yes I am!!> and Jrdn was soon flooded with offers.
Later that eve I recieved a pm from MOM sayin he wanted to trade with me, My SCAR Fri the 13th, a fairly highly sought after pin and a Villain to boot!! My heart soared!! Would I?
Does a pintrader practically fall overthemselves to get to a suit with a lanyard at WDW?
Now first you must consider that most children are alittle shy around me, Hell some adults too, so while not in person jrdn chosing my pin to trade for out of all the ones he was offered was a cosmic sign to me, I accepted immediately and our trade was completed a few days later,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
NOW THE PIN KARMA,
i arrived at the Coranado, backpack loaded with pinbooks, diet coke, pbcrackers and lot of hope, what I did not know was inside my bag was much more. Like a note for school lunch when we were kids was a card from my much better half , as she is an Md it was a prescription for the pin event, to have as much fun as i wanted, to stay out if I chose, to trade till i couldnt trade anymore all with her complete support and wishes for success. I was flabbergasted<and you dont use that word lightly!> how funny and how cool!!
So I cant help but show it to some folks i know, including the now UBER COOL in our house, GBDB4EVER, debbie seems perplexed at first and then smiles and goes to her pin bins<yup bins not books bins, can you say hardcore!!> and produces this pin as a gift for a lady she has never even met
, all due to the card!! <needles to say MDL is a SW collector and hertofore not had any very low edition pins, so this welcomed her into the LE 100 club and abosolutlely took away her breath when I showed her that night!!> THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR YOUR KINDNESS!!
But the gods of Pins were not completely finished with me yet,my guess is they were checking to see if i walked the walk and talked the talk??? I saw a few other DPF folk, and wandered up to find Laz, now it seems on a POH<the original not the PODM> quest, seems he aquired 3 and decided he needed them all now<shameless plug to help him but what the hey it is a story about Karma!!> so I find one I have in my book and give it too him, he objects and says I cant do that, Oh yes I can I reply its my pin isnt it?
He is esstaitic and we settle on a SW rack pin, again for the lady<she outpinned me 2 to 1 this event, but it is a first that i didnt come out way ahead so I dont mind at all!>
and I move up the rows of traders
Then a shining white light shone on a small group, I went to thier book and looked, there it was, that grail of over 300, sitting so innocent in thier trader book, I looked at the lady on the other side of the table and asked if they were really trading it?
Well yes, especially if you have these four pins, she said pointing to her wants list,
Time stopped....
All sound around me suddenly suspended.......
My heartbeat became like thunder ....
as... One... two.... three....oh dear lord PLEASE......
yes...Four , I have all four of those!!!!!!
your kidding she asked, her eyes glowing with a edge of a blaze bursting to infrerno,,,,
no look, I opened my book and pointed to the pins,,,badda bing, badda bang, badda boom!
Its yours she, said, no hesitation,.......Just as her husband walked up<did i just feel you take a breath as if to say ohhh nooo,.... I know I did at that moment...certain that I was going to get this close and somehow be denied!!!>
Hes taking that pin, and im getting these she told him, He looked confused and then upset,, oh great dude, here goes the dream ... shattered again!!!
He started to object and she said, NO its a done deal!!,,, I thanked them and carefully removed the pin from the book, certain as the day is long that any second this would go horribly wrong and i would not get the pin...
I did though........ I walked away looking down in my hand and there it was!!!
Suffice to say , if you have any doubts about pin Karma, my humble, ok Im not humble im a villain, my unhumble opinion is try it, our hobby is supposed to be about a mutual appreciation and sharing, try to live that ideal, the gods of pin karma may just sit up and pay attention!!

there was great pin karma all over that day <3 I helped others and others help me and others making it a pin love fest!!!
