Would anyone be interested in being pin pals? I am in Orlando WDW and have access to WDW pins and cast store pins (I am not a cast member, but know people who are) here at WDW. Would love to have Pin pals across the globe for trading/buying pins at own cost. Pleaseeee let me know if anyone is interested. Thank you :)
 
I would be interested in being pin pals :) I'm in Anaheim California, so I have access to DLR pins if you are interested in any.
 
This should really be a new sub forum or something. People from either WDW or DLR or UK or whatever can post what they would like at cost, and then someone can come in and commit to get those items for that person. It could be a whole network of people! Like myself for instance I live pretty close to DLR, so I would wait for 4 or 5 people to put in requests, and then I would go one day and get all of the pins and mail them to the person that ordered it. Anyone else think this is a good idea?

Sounds okay, but most people are already doing it on the Pins for Sale/Wanted forum.

BTW, you're in Corona? I'm near there (in Riverside)
 
I wish I could get pin pals, but I live by NYC, next to no pins of any kind :( However, I do plan on moving out to CA eventually and I'm seriously considering spending a whole semester at the Disney College Program (so I'd practically live in WDW) so if anyone could help me out, I could return the favor eventually. Think of it as a long term project :)

Yeah Corona! I was gunna say maybe we can get together and trade, but as it turns out each of us has 0 pins the other wants lol. oh well. glad to know I have a neighbor!
 
Kupo111, I would not mind picking up pins for you at your cost =) As long as payment is upfront and I am notified at least 2 days in advance, I can arrange for pickups =) ...And thank you everyone who had responded, its very kind of you to offer...
 
I so wish I could be of pin use, but sadly I live in Northern California and trips to the park can be relatively few and far between for me :doh: The one thing I do have access to tho is disneystore.com if any international members need help ordering from there to save on shipping. I've been doing it for about a year for a vinylmation friend in australia, and have gotten accustomed to shipping overseas. Not much to offer I know, but I'd be happy to assit if ever I can be of help, and maybe in cases for members who can travel to dlrp, we can help each other out =)

Thank you so much for the offer, I will keep you in mind (literally, I have a small word document of people who can help me out with specific places...you are now on that list ;D and shall not be forgotten!!!)
 
I'm always happy to be a pin pal :)

I can get any DS UK pins for you that come out (at cost of course) and as always, anyone is welcome to get the Paris pins I pick up when I go or I get on order. The costs for those are always cost +postages and a little to cover the cost of the luggage weight to bring stuff back or to cover the time it takes me to set up the postage order (it can take hours to send out all the invoices and such!! Not to mention how long I spend at the post office xD)

But yes. Pin pal is a great idea, I'm in!
