I also try to get doubles of some pins, especially if it fits two or more collections (such as a mystery set and another collection category).
I purposefully got a double this time, because I'm on the fence about one of the pins I traded and will leave that to the experts in Olathe to decide.
If that pin is NG and trade cancelled, I have another one. Next arcade I can focus on other pins for myself and others.

I got in the habit of keeping a list before and during the trade arcades so I don't duplicate.

The best part about Pin and Pop is the fact that feedback is listened to and executed on. I know not everything can be addressed immediately so I hope repeated requests for feature improvements don't feel taxing on the PnP team!

My FAVORITE addition in this last event was the ability to hide visited tables while preparing for the event and creating my watchlist. It's unbelievable how much easier it was for me hop in, check out some tables, update my list and move on without the need to scroll through hundreds of tables listings.

That little improvement makes me so much stickier as a user. Long story short, thank you for listening!

PS I am also on the 'Please let us rescind trades after a reasonable amount of time' bandwagon. Seems an essential next evolution and I trust you'll figure it out!

My thoughts on rescinding offers for people taking too long. I am one of those people who will waiting until a good amount of offers are made to give people a chance to shoot their shot. Some of the pins I put up on the table this time are out "big hitters" for me that I really would love to get something amazing for. I really try not to put monetary values on pins because that sucks the fun out of it BUT I'm not so naive to where I will accept an open edition pin for a WDI. This event I have 2 hard to get (for me) pins that I will eventually trade but for the perfect trade offer; both are event exclusives. One is a "first time up on my table" pin and the other I've put up in the past to get a feel for what I could potentially get in terms of range. There were many wonderful offers presented over the weekend to where a little bit of decision paralysis set in and I just couldn't decide on the right decision for me and the other party. If you made a trade offer to me over this weekend and I made you wait longer than you would have liked, I am very sorry but with this type of trading we're all waiting 'til the cows come home on Monday at the cutoff time.

Now the other issue... rescinding offers if you have successfully traded for a pin with someone else and you have multiple offers out in the world could be a good thing. I know double trading sucks if you are limited on traders, don't like having doubles or prefer to focus your energy on other pins throughout the weekend. I WOULD LOVE to see a flag or notification pop up (either when an offer is made to me or when I go to try and make an offer) where a brightly colored tab tells me "HEY, YOU'VE ALREADY TRADED FOR THIS AT THE PREVIOUS EVENT BUT WE HAVEN'T LOOKED IT OVER YET". I double traded at the November event for a pin I forgot I potentially traded for at Happy Haunts so I'll end up having 2 pins now if the other gets approved. Having doubles isn't my concern; I actually don't mind having doubles most of the time. The pin I traded away for the second one could have been used for something higher on the priorities list is my concern.

Ok.. enough of my soapbox for the day. Hope everyone is still getting awesome offers and I look forward to seeing those hauls!
Agree with a lot of this. Also saying I understand both sides... compromise is part of life. Some people want to see all of the offers before they decide and that means they will wait until the end. I also don't mind doubles for the most part.

Allowing rescinding would add another level to the TAs... and I think I would enjoy seeing things get mixed up a bit more. ie, control of the trade would not be so heavily weighted to one side or the other. Allowing one side to wait until the end of the event does heavily weight trade control to one person in the trade over the other person.

I am lucky that I ususally know if a trade offer is one I will even want... so I decline either immediately or I might sit on an offer for a few hours. I usually try to clear out offers by the end of each day. Basically try to hit a balance.

I see there have been some changes to Pin Books. Now the Pin Book functionality doesn't work on the Search Results page (lower left corner button). The only way I can create a new Pin Book or add a pin to a Pin Book, is from clicking on each individual pin's page. This is a lot of extra work between the clicks and the scrolling.

Looks like I may have introduced a bug with some of my updates... I'll get this fixed and then you should be able to still add from the Search Results page.

@hopemax This should be fixed now... let me know if you find anything else with this update.

Hopefully, this update helps everyone better organize and search Pin Books better. We've seen tons of new Pin Books created and have received a lot of requests to search and filter Pin Books.

Some new features for Pin Books:
- Choose which Pin shows as the "cover" for the Pin Book
- Optionally set the Page & Position of the Pin in the Pin Book - this can be used when the virtual Pin Book is representing a physical pin book you have and you can set which page in the pin book the pin is located at. This is how we've used some of our private pin books so we thought others could benefit from it too.

I seem to be having issues with my pin books. I can’t rename or delete them. Also when I wish to remove a pin from a pin book I have to go to the pins page and scroll down to the bottom to change it, it was much easier before when we could change it from the pin book page. Is there anyway that these things can be looked into?

I know the answer to rename. It's in a different position. When you are in a specific Pin Book, There is a "Hide Filter" button. Next to that are three tiny images that change the display. One of those looks like a gear. Click that, and then you will have access to edit the title, and change the setting from Private to Public. Click Save.

Oh, this is also where you can remove pins from the Pin Book. Click the gear, and it will make a horizontal list, and on the right of each line is a little trash can.

But I agree the other way was easier and more intuitive to where to find.

Wow is that ever convoluted, it was so much more user friendly the way it was. I would never have figured that out if I hadn’t found this forum to ask vs before I was able to start making and editing Pin Books right away. I hope they look into adjusting it to something that is closer to what it was.

Appreciate Chris' work for the collecting side of things, in setting up my board based on those statistics it didn't bring me any extra trades.

I find if I have a pin that qualifies for trade quest, they get the most attention - especially Sunday afternoons around 2pm.

The best improvement I can think of is a quicker turn around on trades.
