PinPics - New Format / Big Site Changes!
Hopemax I want to thank you for your help, a while back I had an issue getting on that is what the problem was had to set up a new account that was the fuzzybunny1 account,, I use the fuzzybunny one just have to use a different email. If I could hug you I would right now. Happy trading

I logged on but my whole collection and traders are gone and I logged in with my email and my username won’t come up
 
That seems to re-enforce the idea that PTDB and other sites are making them up their game as other competitors already have that feature.

Actually, they were working on the grail feature even when it was released. I think patience is something that just needs to be given during the next couple of weeks while they've said they are working!
 
I haven't received any trade requests, but I'm having a hard time reading replies to mine. When I hover over the "eye" icon, it only shows me the first line of the message, and I can't figure out how to see more.
Have you clicked on the eye? I had one message (now gone... don't know why) and a pop up box came up when I clicked on the eye.

Yeah, tried clicking the eye, still only see the first line of the message. :'(
I think I should take a page from your book and keep my distance for a few weeks while the dust settles. Save myself some anxiety.
 
If you click the eye you should see the full message. But if the person put an apostrophe in it, it will cut off after that.
 
They sent out an update with things that have been fixed and things getting fixed!

When searching for pins use the filters to drill down. The search is searching keywords in the Title and Description of the pin. The filters can help you find what you are looking for faster.

Items Fixed

  1. The Grid View is now available in your Dashboard. We are going to be adding this to the view when looking at another users collection.
  2. Ads - the Auto Ads have been turned off in Google. There will no longer be an ad at the top of the page. So on the mobile device the first thing you will see is the Search Bar.
Items In the Process of being Fixed
  1. GRAIL Icon to add to your Owns and Wants that allows you to show these pins as a Grail in your collection or a Deep ISO (in search of). Looking to add levels for this and working on the best icon to use. The signifier will place these pins in the beginning of your Pin View of your OWN and Wants This is in motion with our developer.
  2. COMPARE Feature - The programmer knows this is a major function we need to add back in. Needs to code it into the site.
  3. View - looking to toggle between 50 - 100 pins per page.
  4. Printing - Working to condense the overall area of the pins to make it easier to print and not use as many pieces of paper. This would be for both list and grid view.
  5. Seamless Messaging System for Trades and also for messaging between members. More info to come on this so watch for the update.

This was my issue too… I accidentally used one email to create two users names. Before it wasn’t a problem because I’d sign in with my username but now they are making you sign in with your email address. After much troubleshooting I figured it out! First I had to figure out which email address I used multiple times since I have a few. Once I figured it out, the account Pinpics kept logging me into was the one I didn’t want. It didn’t have any of my wants or traders. I went into that profile and changed the email address to something different.

Once I did that, it freed up the account I was trying to get back into. However, it did stop me from using that original email address again and said that the email was already in use. So I ended up just attaching a separate email address. Super relieved that I have access again and didn’t lose all my wants and traders.
 
Why do you suppose they did a live launch of the site before they had done any beta testing/bug checks and before half the features were ready to be deployed? I feel like this is going to tank Pinpics. Everyone is frustrated by the new site and from the feedback I've read on my Facebook pin trading pages, a lot of people are already giving up on it. Even if it's a lot better in a couple of weeks or a month, they're going to have lost a lot of their audience.
