I have been working on my persons package today and I can't wait to send it out. I have a few pins from their wants list so I am working with those and some other little goodies. I loooove making goodie boxes like this. I hope they will LOVE it!
 
I expect I'll be a lot more excited when I actually get mine. Right now I'm kind of bummed. I wanted to shop yesterday while I was at WDW. I'm going back on Monday, I sure hope I have my person by then, it's going to be my last trip there before Christmas and I really wanted to shop at WDW for him/her.
 
I wanted to get my person something from their want list (which I did) but also to send them something that reflects me, so I'm sending a couple of cool pins along with a few other assorted doo dads, to make up a nice package. I'm excited because I haven't done this before. I don't trade much (thus no feedback score) and though the people on the forum have been really cool to me, I'm still something of a newbie-outsider. I hope this will be the start of making some nice contacts!
 


Last year I only had one pin on their wants list. Their wants list was really small with a lot of grail type pins. I wanted to make their package special and since they collected Pirate's pins, (being from Tampa we have a huge Pirate culture here) so I included a pirate gift "Tampa" style. I think it's cool if you send something that reflects yourself. It was so much fun last year! I can't wait to get my person!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I've got mine now! The email was sitting in my junk mail for 2 days. I think I have the presents sorted. I had the main one anyway :hsd:
 
I'm super excited! I got my person but haven't figured out what I'll send them yet. Decisions, decisions... *rubs hands together*

Reminder: they are coming to email, not by PM here, and check your spam folders-- mine was in spam and a whole lot of other people have said they found theirs in their spam folder too.
 
Here's a question for anyone.... Now that I have my person, how do I search for their username so I can their wants? Is there a place to search for members? Confused? I'm very new to all this. Help!!!

Go to pin pics, got to the my pin pics tab and search their name in the wants search bar
 

when did ppl get this. i wonder if i already trashed it/ or mayb its not here yet.
 
Got mine today!!! but a little bummed, the person has no posts, and no pins in their pin pics. Well I hope they appreciate what I give them.
 
It's a good thing I checked this thread. I have been waiting and waiting for the email.
I read the comments on here saying to check Spam folder.
So I did, and that's where it was.
Got my person and I am so excited now :hsd:
 
I received my person yay!!! I'm not sure about getting them pins, I wanted to make them something personal or buy them something super cute Disney related. But not sure now. It seems like everyone is getting there person pins. :/
