Hello everyone!

I need advice again should I collect all pins for the new mermaid ride in WDW? I am already working on being an Ariel's underse adventure completeist(and am having a hard enough time with that) I am at DLR not WDW and have never been 2 WDW in my life but I know I will go someday. I just don't want 2 go in a few years and ride it and love it and then regret not getting all the pins for it and have 2 start in the middle. i hope all of that made sence ha ha! plmk what you think thanks!:hsd:

My advice is the same as it always is. If you think you'll like it, then collect them! Because you can always trade them away at a later time if you decide you don't like them. That's what I did with Princess and the Frog. I thought I'd love the movie so i started collecting the pins right when they started releasing. Turns out I wasn't AS fond of the movie as I thought I'd be, so I sold/traded the pins away for stuff I wanted but if you don't collect them and then decide you want to once they've been out for a while, it might be harder to get them. And since you are around DLR, maybe you can find someone who's near WDW and you guys can get pins for each other!!

Isn't the ride at WDW going to be the same thing as the one in DCA? I mean, I would just collect the ones you like or just focus on the DCA since you started... Although I am not totally agreeing with this idea, I do see a point about the craziness over the Brave pins when the movie wasn't even out yet. If you haven't seen Brave (but only liked the trailer so far, which I did too and was hoping for more in the movie!) or in this case, ridden or seen the ride or even been to WDW, what emotional connection or value will you have to actually keep this pin if you haven't even ridden it yet or been to WDW? Kind of like echo's experience how she thought she would like the Princess and the Frog but when she saw it, she didn't like it as much (but haha i know it was different for her with Brave).

haha yes it was totally different with Brave! I -thought- I would like Princess and the Frog so I figured 'might as well collect the pins!' but I wasn't positive. With Brave, I knew from the very first time I saw anything about it, that I would love it and appreciate it and relate to it. Horse riding, Scotland, and archery alone were enough to make me KNOW without a shadow of a doubt that I would have a connection and yes, that it would be near and dear to my heart!! I was right, but I'm STILL trying to get all of the pins I only own 3 so far!! DSF Merida on Angus, DSF Merida stained glass, and the triplets from the booster pack. Need so many more

Well I KNOW I will love this ride because I LOVE undersea adventure!! (I will always love undersea adventure more than this one though... it looks so incredible and I remember first riding it and being mesmerized by everything! ha ha!) It would just really suck if in a few years I end up going, ride it and love it and not have all the pins I would like for it I think I will collect it and just have a page in my pin book for them. They will not reach the board until I have riden the ride! ha ha! thanks everyone! :hsd:

I know you've already decided to collect 'em but I'll say this anyhow; I think its a good idea to collect them. If you know you're going to love the ride then yep. I collect the Hitchhikers, both DLR and WDW pins, I have only been on the WDW Mansion... however I am a fan of the DLR one too and know a lot about it and one day I want to ride it. Same difference eh?

No... dont do it! It leads you down the road to collecting all things Ariel! AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

J/K Collect whatever tickles your fancy. Remember if you change your mind, you can always trade them away.

As a fellow Ariel lover I say do it! I may even try to get some myself, I didn't even know that they were even working on the ride to be over there too.

Thanks everyone!!

Lady dobbins:I did;nt even think of that we are thae same now! ha ha! Even if I ride it someday and don't like it (never gonna happen ) I will have awesome traders! ha ha!

Pyscho: Is it really a bad thing 2 collect all things Ariel? ha ha! jk!

Lilimay: Woo hoo another Ariel fan! ha ha! I like you sig btw

Like someone said before me, might as well start now with all things Ariel since you are going to do that anyways.

Well I know you love Ariel so I would say go for it! You don't want to miss out and regret it later! Plus the pins would most likely be really cool!
