Going to have my little rant :rant:

at the fact I received a message today from someone who opened a package from disneystore to find as well as their items was another package inside, my package............ which is now nowhere near where it supossed to be and in someones else package!! It is just stupid and I am quite amazed how they have managed to do this??

I have contacted disneystore and waiting on a reply I am sure people dont really want to read my rant but Disneystore UK really have mucked up this time!
 
Yeah, just really annoyed, its seems disney store seem to get more and more sloppy with each pin release and now with even sending pins. Last time I had to wait over a week before my pins where dispatched and now this.
 
That's crazy! So was like, your envelope inside the other persons envelope? Or did they just add the extra pins in?
 
My envelope was inside theirs so they had my billing details and mobile phone number and everything....

wow that really is weird and a mess. gee i assume that persn contacted you? if so look at the lucky. Lucky a creep didnt get your info and just keep you items and then you would be fighting with the disney store about no shipment/lost items etc.
 
Wow that sucks I'm sorry. The Disney Store in the US takes about a week to mail out also. I ordered twice from them, one pin each order, they came in a big box and the pins were not even protected in anything like bubble wrap or a bag.
 
Wow. Thats so bad! I have to say I'm not really impressed with the service from the UK Disney Store (online). They just seem to be slacking in a lot of areas.
 
WOW! Hope you resolve things soon! One of the worst things I've heard them do, good thing the people that received the pins were honest and told you about them. Imagine if you've would've waited and nothing..you have a serious reason to be mad. If it was me, I would keep bugging them.
 
Yeah, I am so grateful to the person for contacting me, they could have easily kept the pins for themselves, but so very annoyed and shocked at disneystores' mistake.

at least the person who received your package was honest to say they have it. I have found Disney store uk customer service to be quite helpful. it will be resolved soon I am sure :hug:
 
Ok that really is bad. Surely the person packing the stuff would have released that there was one envelope inside the other before they sealed it up?! I hope it gets resolved for you soon anyway.
 
I dont really get how it could have been in another persons order as Yodel sent me a message this morning saying it was going to be delivered before monday but the tracking says they havent even got the package from the 'sender' - Disneystore????

They're just trying to make pin trading/collecting that little bit more challenging!
 
Just another example of how sloppy the UK Disney Store has become lately. Unfortunately they really don't care.

Your details being given to another person is technically a breach of the data protection act, but I bet they won't acknowledge that.

For once it isn't Yodel to blame it is the distribution centre as it was packaged up there.

I'm interested to see how Disney go about making this right and hopefully you get it sorted soon.

Yes, the customer service is pretty darn good. Its just a shame you have to contact them so often!
 
Wow... that is TERRIBLE... can you imagine if the person was dishonest, and had bad intentions. They had ALL your information... If I were you I would call the disney store right now and tell them how bad this situation really is... you could have had an identity thrift with all your information!!! Yeah, they are human too and make mistakes with packages... but, seriously?!
 
Oh that's awful. ,I hope u get it resolved quickly and get some kind of compensation....I've noticed lately a real downhill trend for the .co.uk guest services and their attitude....far too many mistakes are being made. Last week I made an order and 14....yes 14 of my items, mainly clothing, were removed frm my order after paying as they emailed me they'd oversold!!! No sorry no nothing. I was fuming...took them 3 days to let me know. Yodel are abysmal too....the state some of their parcels have arrived in is shocking, and I've ad items go missing too....I could go on but I won't, u get the gist....
 
That is so bad. The packaging has been dreadful recently as well. A couple of months ago all pins were bubblewrapped separately, or no more than two together, back to back. The last couple of orders have arrived with all the pins together in one bag or box.

They should refund your entire order and credit quite a lot of money onto your account as well. It really is an awful mistake. I wonder if they're employing temporary staff to deal with the influx of Disneyland Paris pin orders?
 
Well they didn't get back to me today, if they don't email in the morning I will ring them. This is Disneystore I don't think they believe in refunds so I will be happy to get my pins and items!!! Its is awful to see so many people are having problems with them at the moment. It not like we are buying cheap items you would hope the service and care would be a little better.
 
I normally post a really long rant on their Facebook page, the last few times I've done that I've magically had a call from guest services within half an hour lol!! Try that!
