I'm handing out lollipops and @$$-whoopins and right now, I'm all out of lollipops... Lol

Wow, I'm so very sorry to hear how bad things have been for y'all lately!! Pins are supposed to be fun and a way of meeting people and making new friends, etc. I hope to go to Disneyland again in October (I'll post specific dates when I know them) ... and when I do I hope I get to meet and trade with lots of fellow DPFers! During my last visit (in June), I had so much fun trading and passing along some Disney magic and even some Pixie Dust ... it was fantastic! My wish for all of you is to have great pin karma and pin dreams that come true! Take care, *bjr

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. It feels like this change has been recent, starting with the lack of pins being released on ds.com. Now I know who to stay away from and I'll be doing that for sure! I hope to see more of you at Disneyland!

btw, the Practically Perfect Punch was a drink they sold (now been replaced) over at the Jolly Holiday Bakery.

I haven't had a bad experience with traders online, because I haven't had any experience with traders online. I have to pack in any thought of trading because noone will respond to my requests on PinPics! At least I guess it means I avoid the punchable people, so there is a bright side ^_^

Hahaha, being able to avoid violence is always a good thing! Though I hope you have better luck win PinPics trades in the future!

Speaking of wanting to punch someone in the face, but I got stopped by the crowd... The jerk who started all the shoving and make women and kids cry at the DSF release... All I can say is if I got around that fence and got to you... neither one of us would have had pins and I would have felt soooo much better than I did when I saw him get his wristband put on... Made me sick to my stomach....

Moe, the better solution is to take video of bad behavior and show it to security. That video may have presented irrefutable evidence of bad behavior and DSF could have exercised their right to refuse service. Guy would have been sent home and you would have gotten your pins anyway.

Gotta use the technology readily available to fight bad behavior. ;)

There would have been nothing DSF could do about it. :( it wasn't on their property.

It isn't just in Disneyland - it happens at Disney World too. One pin trader at Epcot told my daugfhter they wanted 5 of her Hidden Mickey Pins for one of his new ones or told her to have me buy her 3 of the new released pins. It would have cost me about $40 to do that. It's just sad.

Wow. The HM pins are so plentiful at WDW

I agree! That man at the DSF release was starting drama then began lashing out and cursing out loud in front of kids. That definitely was not cool :/

Jeez... I gave a pin to a little kid because he liked it but the family left their pins in the car.

Some people are going to have an awful lot to be proud of on their deathbeds >_<

I feel really bad for everyone. I actually went and stay with my friend this weekend, a 68 year old lady who's only joy really is her family and pin trading. We went to DTD each of the days, (I am not a passholder) and each came back with 6 new HM's each day along with tons of beautiful pins from LE's, Rack pins and a few PTD pins...from LANYARDS.

We gave some new pins to children who were just starting out, and we chatted with all kinds of people. we were really only looking for the Simba and Scar pins from the mystery set and we really made out. I got pins for my grandmother too.

But we've had our share of BAD weekends too. About a month ago there was a cast member that well..I posted about it a while back because I was so upset about that day. And in all honesty...If anyone is out looking for pins for me the first thing I tell them and ask them when they go out is to be safe and if they'll be okay now because I'm worried someone is going to go out and get hurt because of a pin. My friend got me the Tangled PODM, and she said never again will she go to a release.

I've never been able to trade at a park... Haven't been to DL since 2000. I have been occasionally burned trading on pinpics, but at least I don't get physically harmed! I'd love to trade at DL, but I think I'd be afraid! So more power to all of you!

You hit the nail on the head. Pin trading has become a thing of the past. If I want my Holy Grail guess where i need to go? Give up! E-bay, not pin pics, not DPF... Ebay! Why? because no one I have met in the last few months trades equally, they just like to trade up.

Too many are relying on pins as a source of income.

For that reason, I'm glad the PODM are going away.
