Surprise DSF Lilo & Stitch Tiki Set

Is this the first time they have surprise released a set of pins? I'm not sure I'd like this to become a regular occurrence. Let the mad scramble commence.
 
I'm not a fan of these pins but I think it's kind of cool that they did a surprise release for a set of pins instead of just a single-pin surprise release!

But then, maybe these were supposed to be released last month in conjunction with the Tiki event at DLR and someone at DSF f'd up???? :lol:
 

I also think its cool that DSF didnt announce this surprise release and just let word leak out!

Yeah, doesn't seem like the smartest plan in the world, now does it. Create chaos as people rush to DSF, but not really want them because of premiere prep work...

Nice to see that these are also LE400s though.

D'oh, I can't see the pictures. My work computer blocks some of them. It sounds adorable though and like something I really need! Why DSF do you do this to me when I'm saving my pin $ for D23?!
 
I don't collect stitch but if I did, I would so want those, they look awesome - actually I want them anyway haha
 
I just left about 40 minutes ago and they had a TON left! Since they are closing in a few hours for the premiere and there was nobody there when I went, I'm sure they will have most of these tomorrow. They also still had the Blue Fairy Perfume Bottle and Roger PTD.
 
To Diablo - The Tiki event was back in June, so yeah some one messed up!

I like the concept of the stacked pins. I hope that DSF has stacked sets for the additional characters in Planes, Little Mermaid 3D, and Frozen.
 
OK. Normally dont post this type of thing but....

Talked to Hubby. I am going to go up there in the morning bright and early. IF they still have them, I will be able to get up to 4 sets. (I have a 4yr old) I will try to keep the pricing fairly low. Watch my pin shoppe for updates once in hand and home tomorrow. i am NOT taking reservations because i do not know how many, if any i will for sure be getting.
