I've just watched the Tangled movie for the first time! This was the first time for me seeing this story line period. I've heard some folks say they loved it and some say they didn't like it as well as some of the other classics. Well......I LOVED IT!!! I laughed and cried from beginning to end! I loved how the characters looked more life like instead of cartoonish. Now.....I must collect the pins from this movie!! Gee.. I'll probably will have to get a second job to afford them. lol lol. Im really excited to start this collection. job to afford them. Lol.

(But no I agree, great film that made me both laugh and cry. Saw it twice in cinemas and preordered the DVD)
 
There's a reason why Tangled is so popular with collectors. This is an excellent movie, worthy of being being included in the Disney classics.
 
In the short time that I've been collecting, I've have taken notice of all the craze for the pins from this movie. At that time, I didn't get it. I couldn't figure out why the pins were so popular. However I can honestly say after seeing the movie, I WANT THEM ALL!!! I basically just collect pins from my favorite movies. This one has just moved to the top of the list. So exciting!!
 
Best of luck to you! I saw it 11 times in theaters, but I've decided to go easy on the Tangled pursuit because I can't afford it! Lol
 
I just saw this movie for the first time last month. I don't know why it took me so long to finally see it...it IS a GREAT movie
 
I love Tangled, I recently lent my DVD to a friend who hadn't seen it yet and I'm itching to get it back.
and I collect SOME of the pins from the movie. If you feel you need the whole collection, good luck! Otherwise just get what you like! Saves on wallet pain.
 
It's a great movie and I wish you the very best of luck in your quest to collect all the pins. Just always be patient and don't give up. I think that some of the Tangled pins will come down in value over time (well...hoping they will because right now some of them are ridiculous!). You'll have to let us know what you end up getting for your first Tangled pin
 
I watched it for the first time this year. Good movie. Still prefer The Princess and the Frog but hey I like Tangled too.

Good luck with that new collection though. o_o
 
I will post my first tangled pin for sure. I've already seen so many that I would like. Of course, I want them all but I'm sure my pocketbook will prevent that from happening. I'll try to get my favorites and hope to trade for some as well. Either way..... I'm going to have tons of fun looking and searching for them. For me, the hunt is half the fun. You know?
 
Some of those Tangled pins are very rare and very expensive; are you planning on being a completist?
 
Well, I'm new to pin collecting. Less than a year. So, I'm still learning. So far.... I have only two completed sets in my very humble collection. The valiant and villainous set and the princess crests. The rest are pins from my favorite movies. NO, I don't think I will be one who will get every single pin from a movie. There's way too many. I like to complete small sets of things but to get every single pin from a movie even if I want them like the tangled ones is probably not possible for me. So, I will concentrate on finding my favorites and hope to get lucky with as many as I can. It will be fun. As expensive as the tangled ones are, I'll have to get only one or two at a time so it will take me quite a while to get my collection going.
 
Tangled is amazing! I went with my father to see the preveiw in London with a talk by glen keane and the directors after, from the opening few seconds i was in love! I was hooked all though the pre-production drawings that got leaked. it's the most beautiful movie I've seen in a long time, one of Disney classics! Goo luck collecting, I've spent a small fortune and I'm not even finished yet!!!!
 
Hey, that's so awesome that you were able to enjoy tangled on a complete different level. In London no less. That's amazing!!!! I can't imagine having that opportunity. That's whats GREAT about DFP. We all come from such different walks of life but can share a very simple interest. I love being a part of the forum. I have my eye on a pin from tangled. I might just pull the trigger today. Excitement!!!!
 
Tangled is one of my favorite movies. I watch it literally almost every week and wake up to songs from the soundtrack, lol. Yet, no matter how much I do love that movie, it couldn't trump The Little Mermaid as my favorite movie, ever. Not sure why, but it'll never happen. I LOVE Tangled. When I first saw it in theaters, I hadn't seen a disney movie in quite some time, so I was sitting there thinking " Why are they randomly breaking out in song?" ( I know, its DISNEY, :lol. And I didn't like it at first, so much, but I went back to see it with my Mom who hadn't seen it yet and that second time, I fell in LOVE with it.

And the pins.... Don't get me started. I just got my first Tangled pin last week ( PODM). It seems that all of the Tangled pins are in HIGH demand and eventually end up being expensive, especially for a teen...

Thanks everyone for your comments and encouragement. Still looking for my first tangled pin. I've seen someone selling Maximus. I think he and pascal are my favorite characters. I might just have to get him.
