I thought I would post and update this thread to see what the current values of Tangled are going for nowadays.

I have imputed some values based on current eBay completed listings that I know of and can be checked. If you remember the final bids or what they "are" going for and not what they should be or will be, please PM me and I will update this thread. Just want to see what I and other are headed for to start, trade or complete this HOT theme.

AP's and PP's are not included. PODM specific scenes should be included? Have I missed a pin? Current sold - pending further completed sales.

Uh... who got that UK pin for $35 If I could get it for that I would already have it... *sigh*

Most of these seem spot on, but $35 seems sort of high for Pin 91773: DLP - Cast Lanyard Series 6 - Pascal, but maybe I'm wrong?

Pin 84970: Disney Store Europe - Tangled Pin

I am not a completist and would love that pin. But I have not seen it that cheap. Heading to ebay now. lol
 
I just sold my Pin 81349: Tangled Opening Day 2010 Cast Member and Pin 80648: Disney Tangled - Opening Day for those prices. I may have to sell Pin 80882: DSF - Tangled - Pascal and Pin 83141: DLP - Rapunzel & Pascal . It's pretty tempting.
 
Please, if the prices are wrong - send me a PM with the correct information and I will update them. Again, I just took current completed lists prices. I may have missed something.

And remember these are all past prices. May be more for the HTF pins and less for the trade book pins?
 
The Stained Glass Rapunzel pin is only $35?! Heck I want that pin for that price as I have been looking for it! LOL Someone beat me to the punch at My D Pins when that pin was $40 there
 
Lots of those are way low. Tangled opening day has sold for $400. I don't think you can sniff a LE tangled pin for under $65 anymore. Maybe the DSF event and Rapunzel PTD are right at $65.

Very true and a lot can depend just as much on the seller or the listing, so it would be tough to expect it at a low number because of one anomaly. I tend to look at the average over the most recent sales, but on those stratosphere ones where they come up once in a blue moon ... that'd get tough.

Great work putting it all together though. We'll get a good gauge coming up on that Box of Chocolates in a few days though with a true auction currently going. I'm thinking it goes for higher than that $45.
 
I had the winning bid on the bay in February for the DSF Pascal for $152.50. I think I got really lucky.

Decided to add up the prices of the ones I still need, and it looks like I just have to come up with $4,335. :lol:

A few are low and a few are high so the total probably balances out in the end. I would say the PoDM is hardest to properly value since $45 probably gets you one with Flynn only.
 
Lets just say they are all worth $10 so the resellers can see this and put each of the pins at $10 bin. :wat:
 
Honestly these pin prices are artificially inflated to insane levels because Tangled is at the peak of its popularity. The market for these pins, and the price, will soon crash to the center of the earth.
 
What I find interesting is the value on the DLRP booster pack. If you look at resale for it as a set, in package, the average is about 30-35, like you show. HOWEVER if you break it up, each one can resell for 15-20. so the set, broken can get you 60+.

translating into trade value, most Tangled OE will trade like LE. Many of the pins you priced at over 200 are practically impossible to get people to trade away, even when in the trade book, available, and you offer more than the current monetary value... Sometimes even if they are pins for the persons collection!

It's like Tangled pins are made of Unobtainium.
