So my first arts and crafts auction just ended and I thought it went wonderfully. I am thrilled with everybody who bid on it!!! So the million dollar question, does anybody want more of these type auctions?

I thought it was great ^^ there are those of us who don't have much in the way of money or pins, but try to use our craft/art skills to help us participate in the hobby. Such an auction is perfect for those of us in that boat, and it helps encourage those timid about their art to out themselves out there.

So, yeah, it was awesome and another would be cool.

It might be fun, tho, to have a specific theme, to focus things a bit. Like, Mulan. The theme could be that broad. That way, if you did multiple such auctions, each one would stay fresh and unique ^^

I agree this is really great especially for those of us who dont necessarily have a lot of money or pins. It helps us to be able to participate in auctions. This has been the first auction i have been able to participate in because i was able to put my talents to use. I felt like it was pretty awesome and fun to be a part of. Definitely like the ideas of doing themed auctions too its a wonderful idea
 
I really, really loved this idea! It was awesome to see what people can create and come up with. I also agree, and think it would be fun to come up with a theme for each auction! I can't wait for the next one :hsd:
 
i think its a wonderful ida and oppertunity for people to use their crafts to obtain pins that they may not have the money and pins for. its also a great way for people to showcase their talents you never know whos looking and in need of some art
 
I do like the idea of a theme! I think it could help a little more focus to come in to the art as well. Like, for example, it would take a lot of creativity to come up with something that is character-specific because it would take a lot of thinking!

I'm all for this happening again! I just think its awesome to see everyone come out of the shadows and post their hidden talents!
 
I thought it was great. Granted my "artsie craftie talent is not suited to shipping or travel to reach you, and thus i didnt try...

I loved seeing all the cool stuff.

Made me want to do something like it. However, i dont have pins to auction that I feel are worthy of the totally awesome stuff that got bid.
 
Keep-em coming! This auction was such an eye opener. There are so many members with such diverse artistic skills. It was great watching. Please do it again. Everyone was a winner that posted their talents. I'm just sorry I couldn't do my project. I had no problem going through airport security with my carryon chainsaw and parachute, but they got very suspicious of the eye patches.:dunno: . Maybe next time.
