You spent all this time, money, and energy hunting down and buying or trading for these pins for your collection.

You acquire 2/4 of them in a short period of time. This is very exciting to you.

Suddenly, pin #3 appears on eBay! You bid on it without hesitation and wait anxiously for the week to be up. You log in on the morning after the auction ends, nervously. But you won!! Now, you have to wait for the pin to be shipped to you.

You go to fix your signature, and while you are overjoyed that you found this pin.

But then you see it. Staring at you.

The last one on your signature. The last pin you need to complete your collection.

What do you feel? Determined? Angry? Happy? Like you'll go to the ends of the earth to find it?

This just happened to me...so I'm curious! I feel happy and determined at the same time, but also scared that I will never find the last pin I need for my Mulan and Fa Zhou collection. What do you guys feel when this happens to you?

I personally get more excited the closer I come to completing me collection....its knowing that im just one pin closer!! Having said that, I still have a few to go, so im sure when I reach that last 2 or 3, it may seem different as the last ones are always the hardest to find!!! Good luck on your collection xxx

I get SO excited, and when I have all the pins I am just ecstatic... then I dread new pins coming out!!! haha!

But I am glad you only have one more left!!! Congrats!!!! Good luck finding the last pin!!!

I've felt excited when I finish a collection. I've completed a couple princess collections and I always felt relieved/excited I didn't have to hunt for that last pin anymore.

If it's a popular theme, I would be ecstatic to complete the collection so far! ^_^ BUT if it's a pin collection that isn't going to expand because the characters are too under appreciated, I would be a little sad  I don't know... I'm always happy to get a new pin for my collection, though

I feel like it stresses me out a little bit especially since I love the work of having to hunt the pins down and when I finish a collection, I don't know what to do with myself!

I need exactly 1 pin to finish my UP collection. Not counting UP coming releases. I know where it's at but can't get it. Can't even touch it. Frustrating.

Waiting for the time I can get it, I'm looking for AP's and PP's from UP and side themes to pass the time. Suck because now I'm within 10 pins for those themes, so now I'm back to what your saying again.

I feel you. There is always time on your side. And, look at it like, if you completed it - you would have to spend more for the new theme like I did.

And isn't that the circle of life?

for me these two pins were my holy grail for such a long time, they were the only two pins I ever thought of on a daily basis, would look every day on ebay they rarely ever came up, then I was so happy they both appeared, but I only won one of them I was so sad, then about a year later they came up again and I made sure to win them both, (even though I already had one) and then a week after that the set came up again and since I wanted them so badly for so long I bought them again, I don't look for them anymore because I know if I saw them I would buy every single one.
here they are, I felt so odd after acquiring them though, almost like a small depression, I still have not found what my new grail is going to be.
wishing you lots of luck with trying to acquire your last grail

Oh, and the feeling when your eBay search alerts you that your final Grail is available so you log on quickly not to pass up a deal or option. (If its mine, a gold 7-UP employee badge pops up and my heart beats again and yell out "are you serious - again") :-(

Wow, master, well done on only needing one pin to complete!!!! That's great!!! I still hAve a way to go!!!! If you any up pins and would like to trade, plz pm me, I'd love to trade x

I just finished my mystery character hats collection! It was the greatest feeling ever. Now that they came out with the new hidden Mickey completed pins, I've been searching and searching for the undersea band completer! So bummed cause I thought I had finished it. Now I'm on the hunt for one more pin!!!

for me, knowing i'm so close but yet so far, is more then little frustrating and draining. i cant afford to buy anymore lol, darn wedding and house saving. patience is not a virtue i possess.

It's definitely frustrating, and I have to force myself to "forget" about a set for a little while in order to be patient.

I have yet to fully complete any of my collections, but I know once I do I'll be ecstatic. That way, if more pins are released in the future, they'll be significantly easier to get than say one that came out years ago that nobody is selling. Why fear spending less money haha?

Part of my Jules Verne collection is the 5-pin set of Mickey and Co. as characters from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. The first ones I got were Mickey as Nemo and Goofy as Aronnax. Those were easy. Donald as Conseil and Stitch as Ned Land were a little more difficult (I was actually bidding on Stitch during the intermission when my girlfriend and I saw the Mary Poppins stage musical... This was serious business!). Chip and Dale as Nautilus crewmembers was almost impossible. I think I paid the most for that one because I was so desperate to actually find one on Ebay, and I was just glad to get it over with when I won.

So yes, when I'm close to finishing a set, I want to get it done ^_^

I haven't completed any of my "sets" but then.. i am not really a set collector. I get close .. and am pretty close on a couple of the themes of the pins i have chosen to want. lol but not there yet.. Hercules is the only theme where i can't wait to finish.. there are such old pins.. i don't think i will ever find them... but i am learning patience.. And the other themes.. its the hunt.. or "its all about the climb" ~Miley Cyrus.
Good luck on you sets.. I hope you find peace.

I'm so close to finishing all the hard Lion King pins that I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! At the same time, the pins I need I hardly every see for trade so I usually buy my grails. It's frustrating because I hardly make any trades but that's why I started a Nemo collection

I woul be so happy , but i collect Alice pins.... and always there something new from them...so its like never end...

LOL - well, you have no idea how happy I will be once I complete Brave, although it does seem like that will never happen at this rate! Lol

-Charlie

I am collecting Beauty and the beast pins, but only ones which contain belle/beast/gaston I only have a few right now so I have a long way to go til I have them all

I am starting to get frustrated with my last Hall of Presidents pin. I have had people agree to trades and swap addresses only for them to back out. One trade I shipped my pin and they sent it back because they couldn't find their pin...

With my PODMs I was more excited than anything. By November I was caught up with all of the releases and only needed the final two. Eventually I found them and it felt awesome.

I like finishing finite sets. Like a pin of the month series, or a set of 5 pins that came out at the same time. I keep a list of those type of things, and making a big line through it is very satisfying. However, I'm 1 pin away from having all the Wilderness Lodge pins, and that's actually a little stressful, because I NEED to keep up with it. So far all the pins that have come out since I got that close have been publically released pins, and easy to get. But if there were new CM pins, then I know I would stress about, "would they show up on Ebay?" "Would they be a price I can afford." If I was BT complete, I'm not sure I could handle the stress going into each release.
