I received a surprise package today (though, with my bad memory, all packages are surprises...) from an address I didn't recognize immediately. I could tell it had a little squish, but that didn't give me much to go on.

I cracked that open and found some HM traders from watzshakinbacon AND THIS ADORABLE ZAP!

Yay! I'm glad it made it to you :D hehehehe DPF has definitely given me a great reason to practice my crocheting. Thanks again for all you do for the forum! :D

Very cool, congrats! How did you get the hands to move?

As for that, it took a little bit of engineering. The top hand (minute hand) was threaded through a hole in the hour hand; each hand had 2 tails. I was trying to figure out how I could knot them so they could still turn without getting stuck/ tangled. They slipped through in my first attempt. I didn't have enough foresight, but eventually I stuffed it a little, tied knots around the fluff, and stuffed some more. Technically, the hands shouldn't be able to go all the way around for too much.. the yarn will prob get twisted.. Oh well! We'll see :dunno::confused::wiggle:

Oh wow. So cute!!!! Great job Watzshakinbacon!!!! Congrats Merlin!!! :D
