Thank you!!! I collect the Peter pan mermaids too and tiger lily but I don't know if that's considered weird or obscure. Although I will admit that when I wear my tiger lily collection people tell me how beautiful my Pocahontas collection is. -___- ( last time I checked peterpan doesn't kiss Pocahontas) haha

I would love a series of pins from rapunzels montage of arts and crafts....
so one of her painting, knitting, sewing, candle making, baking, reading.....yes yes all of those. :) haha

I collect Big Baby from Toy Story 3.
Only found 4 pins so far because I only
want him on the pin.
Have seen lanyards with only black
and white pins. Looks fantastic!
 
I collect Carousel of Progress pins and pins with the current Walt Disney Animation Studio building in them.
 
I just started collecting within the last few months..so not a lot of weirdness yet. But you guys are giving me good ideas. I'm thinking of collecting any pin that overtly Japanese(Donald in the Samurai outfit made me think of that) and my wife collects any pin wedding related, although she isn't into it as much as I am at this point..I'm trying to convert her. :)
 
I collect Cinderella in her rags/everyday clothes. While I do want some pins of Cinderella in her ball gown and pink dress, they aren't my main collection of her. I fell in love with Cinderella and I relate most to her before the ball which is why I collect her in her rags.
 
I collect pins relating to Portugal/Portuguese. I have 2 so far, but since there are only 3 in total, I'm 1 pin away from being a completist! (Unfortunately, no one is trading that pin.)
 
I don't have any *weird* collections, I don't think, but my least common collection is of Secretaries' Day/Administrative Professionals' Day pins ('cause I'm a secretary. Er, Office Manager.) :) Also any pins that aren't *officially* admin's day pins but that fit the theme (characters working at computer desks, the Jessica switchboard operator pin, etc.)

I also collect crows and ravens, which means I love pins with Diablo, and don't care about Maleficent pins if Diablo isn't on them. Also any Haunted Mansion pins that have Nevermore, the raven, on them.
 
I collect LGM pins.. Not really sure if that would be "weird" but not many people seem to have them when I ask :(
have about 15 or so of them right now
 
I don't believe that I collect anything too weird or obscure, but my kids say that I like "interactive" pins - those that open, slide, spin, etc...
 
As an off-shoot of my Grumpy collection, I'm also collecting Snow White/7 Dwarfs pins that have a "business" connection. McDonalds has the most, along with Coke, a couple Kodak from Europe, the Chambourcy set also from Europe, etc. But here are the best (or wierdest) two I have found:

This thread made me start looking for my newest weirdest collection.. I decorate cakes and I fiund 3 or 4 pins on pp and dpp that cit that.. so now the hunt begins
 
I've become a completist (so far) for some obscure (??) characters.

I own all 2 of the Yzma as kitty pins

And I'm a completist for Sven and Kristoff (all whopping 1 pins of them)!!

WHAT!!! this is so great!!! I love your collection. She is such a cute kitty.
Now i need to look up these pins
 
I started a side collection of rodent pins including hamsters, mice, rats and chipmunks for my hamster Fluffy. Wish they had more single pins of Gus.
