Since Starry_Solo has been on the ball with PMs and inquiries to those who haven't sent gifts (are there only 2 people who haven't gotten gifts? or just one?), maybe she should submit those people's names/info to who is handling the next gift-exchange as well as the DPF moderators (for when they do their Christmas/Winter Holidays match-up), so those people can be banned from future exchanges?

I understand everyone has lives and some people are more active / less active than others on the forum, but if it's been 2 months and there has been NO RESPONSE to any PMs or emails, maybe those people should be banned from future exchanges. I'm not talking about banning them permanently (the ban can be lifted once they fulfill their gift-giving duties) or banning them from the entire community, but it sucks for people who give and don't receive, and it makes others upset/mad that the inactive or unresponsive members get "free gifts" for not giving in return.

I have received responses to PMs from the two gift givers and recipients. With a bit of patience (I know, you've waived a whole month already), the items should hopefully be delivered by the end of August.

I have kept everyone up to date with the responses and I believe the gift givers and recipients are in contact with each other too.

I would have to agree...I probably went waaaaaaaaaaay overboard, I mean my package cost 11 bucks to ship! I had to beg for conformation of receipt and I felt kinda bad. I won't post some other things here because I don't want to hurt anyones feelings...but I feel like on my end the thought just wasnt there.

Sorry Shannon. It was my first one. Sorry you felt like not a lot of thought went into it. I know what I sent out was more than $20 worth. I for some reason never thought about wrapping things in Xmas paper. Sorry!

I got my gift in the mail today from Catz and may I say she really outdid herself. She really made the gift fun and personal and I loved everything she sent me. My gift was definitely worth the wait. I really couldnt believe how amazing her gift was and I just want to say thank you again oh so very much. I've participated in two other gift exchanges where I felt it wasn't personal and she really did make it personal. I unfortunately am have trouble posting the pictures my photobucket isnt working at moment so I will post them later but I received 6 pins all that are very beautiful. I received a very lovely gold disney land resort 2007 coin. 2 disney pressed pennys. A giant pen and mini post stick notes. A tea defuser spoon. A honey bear and a jar of whipped berry honey from Colorado that looks delicious. A christmas goofy tin with a silver mini sppon lapel pin thats so cute and antique looking I will wear with my civil war costume. Princess stickers and lisa frank stickers that I didnt think existed any more so I was super excited about those . I got glow sticks wich are always fun. I got some blistex lip gloss which I needed because my daughter tossed my current one in the garbage lol. A alice and wonderland card game. Two decks of cards one from route 66 and one from hard rock cafe. One disney postcard and one pixar that I love its so pretty.oh and some mickey head paper clip rings in different colors so cute. And last but not least she got me snow yes thats right snow how amazing is that I cant wait to play with it tomorrow Thanks again so much Catz its more than I ever could have.hoped for you really went above and beyond and its truly appreciated. You rock :rock:

Based on PMs and emails I received with DC #s, it appears that EVERYONE got their gifts (although some in August!)

Miki....so glad you liked it. And so sorry it took so dang long. I knewn you collected tea cups...so i had bought one that i liked....well as you know. ..it didn't make it. Then...and I mean THEN...I traded for a couple of pins you wanted...but I messed up...and offered something I couldn't fnd. Ahhhh...so since you like personal gifts....and local things...I went with our local honey. This is made in Durango Colorado. They have the coolest bee store. There is a glass hive and you can watch honey being made..and the bees at work! It was pretty cool and fresh honey! Nlt that honey ever goes bad.... the cards are from 2 casinos in Albuquerque New Mexico. .. hard rock and route 66. Then..since I love disney...I found you a bunch of cute themed items. I am sorry it took so long. Hope you liked the pins...I think all of them were from your wants. Enjoy and hope your collection got some love. Thanks for being so patient.
