QUESTION What's a "DPF Charter Member"?

Some of you may have noticed this under some members' names: 1618166512084.png

That's because anyone who joined and was active on Disney Pin Forum through the end of October (2010) is considered a charter member! Charter members will receive:
  • Double the private messaging capacity
  • Triple the amount of photos that can be uploaded to photo albums
  • A special colored user name where ever they post
  • 1618166517330.png appears under their user name.
More benefits may be added in the future. For now, this is our small way of saying thanks to everyone who has come to support the new forums. With your help, the online Disney pin trading and collecting community will continue to grow and flourish.

We're still in the process of applying these tags to everyone, so we appreciate your patience until you receive yours. Keep spreading the word about DisneyPinForum.com and we'll see you on the boards!

If you're registered and active (i.e. you have posted at least once since registering) on DPF and have not yet received your Charter Member status, please post here so I can add you! 🙂
 
hope I joined in time to be a "charter member" I don't usually post a lot but I am always reading everyone else's posts. So far I am liking what I see. Thanks for creating a site to share our pin addiction
 
so many new things, its so exciting and I do have to admit that I much prefer the format of this forum to the other "new" pin forums, but I think thats mostly because its the same as a guiders forum I'm also a member of! So I just want to add my thanks for setting this all up and making it look so amazing 🙂

IS this site going to allow all viewpoints and information be posted and allow it to remain on the site without it being taken down? This site will be immensely popular with pin veterans who were so upset with the last site that continually took our posts down to avoid a bad viewpoint and new info that wasn't Disney attitude.

I implore you to leave every post on this site and not lock posts to avoid comments. I am looking forward to this new site if this is the case

YES! DPF is behind promoting open discussion, and will only intervene if attacks or arguments become personal. If everyone can remain civil in discussions with opposing views without resorting to personal attacks, we will not touch or lock any threads or posts.

this is one of the things (among a list of others) that we were not very fond of on other sites -- lack of open discussion if views differed.

I dont have a feeling this site will be HUGE, I know it will.
I am happy to be a charter member and based on my join date, I was one of the first to sign up.
It is an honor just to be a part of this site.
I have told at least 50 people, now they just need to all sign up and many have.
