What's the best pin you ever traded for with a Disney Parks cast member? I've always been curious to hear/see what everyone got when they traded with a CM. I'm sure a lot of the best CM trades were years ago before things went sour with scrappers, but it would be even more surprising to see recent successful CM trades.

My personal best trade with a CM was years ago... I traded a Mickey Mouse pin from the Travel Co. when I just started out and got....
Pin 23807:
It's still one of my favorites many years later. I can't believe that its wants on PinPics is 207. But anywho, that's what it was for me. What was your best CM trade?

Hi ,been so many over ther years but I think it has to be

Pin 34776: DLR - 12 Days of Christmas Collection 2004 - Five Golden Rings

I found this in EPCOT the weekend of a pin event:

Pin 52466: DisneyShopping.com - Cruella Face Jumbo

And this one a few months ago at Magic Kingdom:

Pin 79505: DSF - Pin Trader's Sundae Tinker Bell Pin Cherry plate - GWP

But my best scores were you kind "fake", because they were worn by cast members at events. But it's still a great feeling to get them. These are my two faves:

Pin 41850: DisneyShopping.com - Halloween Tinker Bell

Pin 44368: DisneyShopping.com - Stitch Pavé Crystal Pin

best from a cm??? my favorite is a fake Hidden mickey of the tea cup princesses... jasmine. she has a giant black mark on her cheek, like a birthmark. i kept it because it was so obviously a fake. but that little birthmark jasmine has grown on me and i am keeping her.

Mine was this one:

It was actually long before I was into pin trading and it was my first time seeing this pin. I had to run into the Emporium to buy an OE pin so I could trade.

I have only been collecting for about 10 months, but this is the best pin I have found so far:

Pin 6829: Darkwing Duck as Double O Duck

I about died when I saw that the cast member had this. She didn't initially have it on her lanyard. I went up to trade with her and didn't see anything that I liked and then she said "Hold on I didn't have room on my lanyard, but I have these too" and then proceeded to pull it out of her pocket along with a couple other pins. I was so thrilled, I pounced on that bad boy real quick lol.

Way back when, when DLR was having their 45th anniversary parade, they had a whole pin series of floats, characters, etc. of the parade. My (now) ex and I decided to try to find all of them, and I (post divorce) finally was able to trade for pins that completed the series. But when we first started collecting them, we were at DCA not long after it had opened, we were there and happened to be walking by a CM door in the winery area when a few managers walked out. They were all wearing lanyards and we got these off their lanyards (I think SoCal must've registered a 3.2 on the Richter scale that day):

Pin 2073: DLR - 45th Anniversary Parade of Stars (Princesses Float)
and

Pin 2141: DLR - 45th Anniversary Parade of Stars (Belle Float) 4 Pin Set

I remember the manager CMs were glad we got them, because we were so obviously *happy feet* thrilled to get those particular pins!

Everyone's finds are amazing!! Rare or not, they each hold something special for everyone, which I think is awesome. I love seeing everyone's finds. When you find something awesome on a CM lanyard, I think there's an extra special feeling to it, since its hard to find something you really, truly like, but when you do, it's amazing!

The R/C girls though... Oh. My. Goodness. I'm kinda speechless about that. Wowowowow!

Haha if I saw a R/C or a BT I'm done for the day. Haha I think the best trade I have done on a CMs lanyard was probably a WIR pin of King Candy. I ended trading with Docfish2U but I got something I wanted and he got something he wanted.

A woman I made a trade with at DL not to long ago had told me she traded for a 101 Dalmatians Jumbo. I can't remember what it looked like but when I seem it it was very nice.

The most memorable pins I have found on CM lanyards were...

Some of them aren't too terribly hard to find...but considering what is normally on CM lanyards they were pretty exciting.

This was the first LE pin I ever got from a lanyard, also the best I think I ever pulled. (There is one for sale on eBay so I'll finally get an idea of value, first one for sale I've seen in 2 years.)

Pin 67372: DLR - Grand Californian Hotel Expansion Project Team 2008-2009

Also got this:
Pin 74144: DLR - Happy Holidays 2009 - Frosted Windows - Lilo and Stitch

I got this pin off a lanyard at Star Trader in DLR too.

This one may be fake. The fake ones have extra metal on the edges.

I'll check it. I had assumed it was just because it was a GWP pin. Or, occasionally, there are traders who like to put nice "surprises" on lanyards for people to find.

I have an official one for myself I can check it against, if I can dig up the box it's in...

I don't live anywhere near the parks, so I can't trade with CMs very often, but I found this pin that I just loved at the time .

Pin 7932: 100 Years of Dreams #57 The Lion King 1994

It's still part of my collection .

My very favorite find was back in 2004, a Minnie mouse Disney Auctions pin, [pinpics]30372[/pinpics]. Such a lovely pin!
