I wondered what's the most any of you have paid for a single Disney pin?
What pin was it and was it worth it?
The most I've ever paid is £70 for my Ellie as a young girl LE 125 up! Pin....
I'm so glad I purchased it as I'd been after it for soooo long, it rarely comes up for sale.....

I wouldn't like to pay much more than this for any pin ,personally, unless it was the UP! Marquee but I doubt I will ever be able to afford that anyways sadly lol!...
my best pin bargain would have to be....some UP pins I managed to get in a job lot in auction a year or so ago, which worked out £3 each!

I am trying to think of which one I have spent the most on but I can't think of it off the top of my head. Frames and Super Jumbo pins come to mind.

The This is Love LE50 frame is the most I have ever spent on one pin thing but that is a frame with 11 LE50 pins so not a single pin purchase.

Ugh, pregnant brain right now...lol I know there are several I have spent in the $100-$200 range for so that would I THINK be my tops.

These all fall into that category!



There are others I am sure but these were off the top of my head!


Best deal? Oh man, I have posted this before so I wish I could find it now so I could just copy and paste.

I want to say I paid $65 (and back then this was a ton of money to me to spend at one time on pins...lol). I got this entire lot of pins though for this price.


I still drool over this today! I would kill to find a deal like that again. At the time I did not know how great of a deal it was though...lol I don't own but ONE of those pins now.
 
A few years ago I paid $350 for
which I felt really guilty about at the time, but it recently sold for over $800 so I feel a little better now LOL.

I also paid around $300 for each of these pins...


And traded about $350-$400 worth of pins for




Best bargain...I must have been the only one watching this auction (and it was also before Beloved Tales were the "hot" thing), but I won this pin for $4 with like $3 shipping

The most I paid was $120 for my spinner. I think my biggest bargain was $35 for the underworld postcard, atleast I was happy to get it for that price.
 
This is the most expensive pin I ever bought for myself:



I got it for about $50 on eBay, a few days ago.

Before that, I never spent more than $25 on a single pin.​

I remember buying the SB Gomes for $190 years ago and gave it to my cousin for her birthday because I was certain I could find another for my own collection. About 5 years later and I'm still looking! :/
 
I would say the most I paid for a pin was $300 for this beauty:

But I felt better after it sold for $500 on eBay not too long after!

The best deal I have had was probably this pin:
Was only $35
This I got when it came out on ds.com and only paid $20
And him for $40

I think the most expensive pin I've purchased was my Beauty and the Beast PODM for $150.00. I honestly think my best deal was my Tangled Kingdom Dance scene PODM at $75.00 by winning an auction on the bay

Best bargain? Probably just getting a ton of really good pins at cost when they first came out (too many to list, really)- all the "Jessica As...", most of the early Beloved Tales, Tangled Chair and Maximus...

I grabbed these pins off eBay for 1/3 their going rate at the time of auction:



I floated on that high for like a week...
 
Most I've ever paid for pins was $100 for the Snow White 75th anniversary box set. However, the most I've spent on a single pin was $55. I usually try to get pins for under $50.

I remember you posing about the Tinks...those were super fantastic prices...I'm still jealous!


And you mentioning the Tangled Chair reminds me...I purchased that pin shortly after it came out with JUST my eBay bucks...so it was essentially "free"...so that might be my best deal ever.
 
I've bought 4 pins in the $30-$35 range, which is the most.

Best bargain...I have too many pins to work it out for sure. But I've figured out that I've managed to get all the BTs I own for on average "cost" (some were more, but they average out because I made some trades that worked out to be less than cost) and I got the Designer Princess set at cost
 
The most I paid for one pin would be my Enchanted marquee.

I paid 1,000 dollars for it. That was my max bid. Was not expecting it to hit that!! LOL

My best bargain would have to be either my UK Tangled marquee grab or the Tangled Chair pin.

I have never spent that much on 1 pin..so i cant really remember.

I saw someone sell this:



for $12 on the Disney College Program group page...they wouldnt post though was collect in person as they were moving out that day. Never been so gutted :|!
 
The most I've ever paid for a single pin is the $20-$30 range. It was for these two pins.

Man, that IS a good deal!

It's such a horrible feeling when prices go up, up, up...but it is nice to see something you get for cheap skyrocket, too! Ah, pin trading/collecting...thou art a harsh mistress.
 
I paid about $70 for this,
which might have been a bargain as well since I did see it go for $400 when they first popped up on ebay. I paid $1.99 for this,
which I thought was a bargain for a $15 pin.
 
$1,500: (one of only four left in existence)



$3,000: (belonged to a man who went with Walt and Roy to scope out the land for WDW)



$220: (the very first Disneyland Tour Guide pin, made of sterling silver, from 1960)



and too many others to remember.
 
The Most I've Ever Paid for a Pin...


$50...it should have been much higher by now considering I was willing to drop over $100 for the LM and BatB Stained glass pins and around $100 for the SB Stained Glass pin but somehow I was zapped with BOTH LM and BatB by the amazing disneygirl333, docfish2u, Rasputin, and MotherKnowsBest and I managed to work out a trade for SB and only pay $50 ^_^

The Best Pin Bargain...

Probably any of the times I bought a pin at cost from rik who is still too amazing OR the time Angel traded me the Stitch BT for a really low pin haha xD If we aren't talking zaps though...
 
26 $ and that even included shipping, so for the pin itself it was 18-20$.

But since I don't own it anymore (sold it for $125 and a $5 profit)... Most spent on a pin I own:
 - $104.38 (just recently off the Bay)

Best bargain (cause I got it on release day):
 - $12.95 + tax
