The whole set is so pretty! Thank goodness I only collect Snow! I would love to get my hands on the Disney Auction Snow Masterpiece Series pin! Gorgeous!!!!

Love that collection too! If I could ever get my hands on the Ariel one I would be soooo happy! I have missed her on the bay so many times by just a few minutes! It is crazy! I can never seem to get a trade to go through for her either. Someday!! :D

^^^Looking at a sellers completed listings, I noticed Ariel went for $25 BIN on the bay a few weeks ago Amanda. Stitch with Jiminy went for $25.00 as well. Missed the deal of a lifetime, didn't we :P

Arghhhhhhhhh! I always just miss the good deals too! I'll keep my eye out, Amanda!!!

I use the ebay app on my phone and have all my searches saved. The grails (like the Gomes Sleeping Beauty) will pop up if they are ever listed. I catch a couple that way but it seems like everything great pops up when I'm low on funds.

We really did!! I tried to get the Ariel one. I saw it go up, clicked buy and it was gone right then. Somebody beat me to it by seconds! I could have cried! Really! I was so sad!! Hate when I miss those deals!

Awww, that really sucks Amanda :( I hate when you think you finally have it, and someone snatches it out of your hand. Hopefully you will have better luck finding it in the future.

I don't think I've ever spent more than $200 on a pin, but I have spent over $100 on a few. I know I bought the following for over $100 each:

Pin 48745: Disney Auctions - Jessica Rabbit Movie Star (Jumbo)
pin48745

Pin 23953: Disney Auctions - Princess Carousel Horse (Belle)
pin23953

Pin 23954: Disney Auctions - Princess Carousel Horse (Ariel)
pin23954

The the longest time I spent on a single pin was $650 but I think its now $1000.
Wow! For that amount, I *need* to know, what pin was it? Wow!

The most I ever spent on a pin was about $50 for this one: http://pinpics.com/cgi-bin/group.cgi?group=463&pin=43655. I considered it well worth it, too! Hanukkah pins are one of my *completer* collections, and with the exception of one, I have all Disney Hanukkah pins, except for two I hated the design of, and didn't want anyway.

Oh wait, Crystal reminded me I paid $350-ish for the Designer Princess set! I forgot about that...not sure if that counts though as it was a set of 10 and if you break up the cost per pin...

Pin 78776: Original Disneyland Cast Badge with Name. I paid $1,500 for it. It's one of four known. It's worth several times what I paid for it.

20 bucks on a LE 300 rafiki and simba! I'm pretty new to pins but i would probably spend a lot more for a very rare pin.
