Hey dont be too criticle of the person who has all those wants...it depends what you want...I and few folks on here like trading, kinda for the sport of it.
The more wants you have the more easier it is to trade. My collection is at about 3100 and honestly i got really good deals on pins and do alot of trading (and buying) and my wants list is now 600 so i have been told. About 150 of those are serious wants and grails and the rest are pins i like or that trade well...oh and i will admit everytime i log a new keeper into my pinpics i keep seeing pins i like and then i add them!! i am sick.

there i said it "HI MY NAME IS DAWNY AND I HAVE A PIN PROBLEM"

And please everyone stop apologizing for having a big wants list.....aim for the stars, its good to want.
 
734, but its always changing.
I will never get them all, but that's OK! Some are totally unobtainable. Some are duplicates (as in the case of the Pixar mystery collection, the chasers & the regular pins). In some cases I have both the set and the parts of the set down as wants.

I feel this means I must trade more. :naughty:
 
I have 97 wants. They are all ones I really do want. I doubt I'll get them all, but it's much easier to trade on pinpics when you have more wants. There are a number of the PTD pins that I can take or leave, but I listed them all so that I can see my PTD collection grow!

I love my pins.

I don't have a Pinpics account, but I have been making a list of all of my wants. Not sure exactly how many, but it was about 4 pages long last time I checked(without pictures). It is enough that I sometimes forget what they all look like XD. Which is why I added pictures to the list.
 
I looked at my wants list and I couldn't believe how many I had!!! 1098!!!!! Definitely have to go through them and narrow done. I think like someone else said before it was mainly when I was first starting and wanted like every pin of one character that I could get my hands on. lol
 
My primary account, that is linked to here... 1114. My goal is to get it under 1000 by the end of the year.

My secondary account, where I list every single pin I want...8988. And it doesn't have everything.

That's what happens when you collect a lot of themes. My primary list is more immediate wants, pins I need to complete sets, and a few collections like Figment and Animal Kingdom that lists all the pins that I don't have. And unlike most people, it doesn't list many grails. It's more stuff I could realistically acquire. Secondary list, is more of a "lifetime" wants list, and lists all the pins for all my themes. The 2nd list comes in handy if I'm looking to trade, and the person doesn't have any matches with my primary list. And it's the list with all the grail level pins.
 
Mabey im around 3-500 I have not looked, now I should go look, but some of those wants are ones my son wantsbut I am in the proces of making him his own Pinpics and Forum ID. so I can take those out eventually and have them in his.


AHHHHH lol I just looked 1237 is how many I want hehehe. I need to take some down from my wants that I have obtained. Sorry my keyboard is acting up so any misspelled words it's because the keyboard is skipping keys when I type fast, sometimes I catch it sometimes I don't

I'm loving these responses! It's given some good perspective on things too. For someone like me, that doesn't have very many pins, I think it's good to keep my Wants list low because I know when I am approached about a trade ill be getting something I really want (usually). However it does limit the number of requests received. On the flip side, folks with a lot of pins can have many many wants because trading is like a sport, so even if they don't keep a trades pin, at least they're always making trades. Very interesting.
 
I used to feel self conscious about the volume of pins in my collection and wants. Then I did a little lurking in comic book forums a couple weeks ago...not feeling so self-conscious anymore. :lol:
 
458! I think having a large amount is good when you are trying to trade, it gives the other person some options when you want something. But some people do get a little ridiculous!
 
I'm at 1349. I actually sat at over 2000 about a month ago before I settled on my collections. I went down to about 1600 2 weeks ago, and then down to 1349 as of today. More than I will likely ever obtain.

Just a little note, your signature is too large. Mods have started handing out infractions for over sized ones. Needs to be the same size as mine. Sorry I can't remember the pixel size!
