Hmm, its still not showing up under DL upcoming releases. I'm not going to make any travel plans until it shows up there. They had different release days last November for Lady and the Tramp.

I was going to say that too, so I headed over to WDW's PODM release, which it still says 11/22/12 and then says this:


Disneyland® Resort Wristband Guidelines:
Wristbands will be distributed
entitling bearers the opportunity to purchase the Piece of Disney Movie History
limited edition pin. Wristbands for pins will be distributed behind Rainforest
Cafe® / in front of ESPN Zone® beginning at 7am, while supplies last. At 8am
wristband distribution will move to Disney Pin Traders, while supplies last. We
kindly ask that Guests do not queue up behind Rainforest Cafe® until 6am. Limit
One Wristband per Guest.
In addition, holding a place in line for others in your party will not be
allowed. Guests who wish to obtain a wristband to purchase a pin must be present
when the line forms or they will be escorted to the back of the line. At time of
wristband distribution, we ask that you please select a location to purchase the
pin: Little Green Men Store Command, Fly n' Buy or Disney's Pin Traders.
Wristbands will be valid for the purchase of the pins at the designated
merchandise locations until 1:00 P.M. on the day of distribution. Wristbands are
limited. At 1:00 P.M. any remaining pins will be available for purchase at the
designated merchandise location by persons who have not previously purchased the
pin(s) on the day of release. Pin limits will apply. Theme park admission
required. Lost, stolen or damaged wristbands will not be replaced. Wristbands
have no cash value. Restrictions apply. Subject to change without notice.

The park opens at 8 a.m. Will they be done distributing wristbands before then? How quickly does it work?

Disneyland did not run out of wristbands, or ran out very close to noon for both Mulan PODM and Steamboat Willie PODM. I doubt they will run out for Lonesome Ghosts as well. Beauty and the Beast PODM might be more popular than Mulan, but hopefully everyone will get a couple that wants them if they are there at/before park opening.
 
Eric from lgm just told a few people in line batb was moved to black friday. Said it was to accomodate wdw. I'm guessing he might be confusing it for the artist signing.
 
Was just at dlr Dtd pin traders. Was told batb podm moved to 11/23.
 
This is really annoying. We're hearing from CMs at Disneyland that the release date has moved to 11/23, but check this out:

So the rumor mill has the dates as being 11/22 for WDW and 11/23 for DLR? Or ?
So the super dedicated BaTB collector could in theory attend both releases and double the odds of getting a grail scene!?!
Theres still a bit of time before the release but I sure wish they could solidify the date be it the original scheduled date , aweek early,day late , or the week after.
 
This is insane and really ... well ... crummy on Disney's behalf. It's so misinformed and flip flopped... I really wish they could provide us with a solid date at least by the time November hits :\
 
I find this so funny. If you go to the grocery store and they are out of an an item - you get it on your next trip. If you are buying clothing and they do not have your size - you request it and when will they have it next. If Disney says they have a pin on a certain day and "they" decide to change the date because it is a "business" decision - everyone gets so wrapped around their life for a piece of metal and call, visit and email what the customer demands Disney to do. I wish schedules changed to my personal schedule but I take it as a business that they post what they release on a certain day and if I can make it fine if not then I am SOOL?

Does not Disney place at the bottom of each pin release description:

"Please Note - All information is subject to change including but not limited to artwork, release dates, edition sizes and retail prices."

After leaving DSF and going threw their re-re-re-re-revised pin release. How would you like to go to DLR and WDW one day to get your wristbands at 3 different times of the day and then come back the next day to get in numerical line to buy your pin. I find little pain that a pin release is moved 1 day later or 1 week later and Disney stating they are doing this. Do I think it is wrong to do it they way they are doing it? Yes, yes I do but at the end - Disney runs their business they way they see it fit and they perfectly know that these pins will still sell out. One or two or three people complaining that they cant make it to take their family with three kids really does not matter to Disney or it disrupts your Thanksgiving plans? To Disney, it is just another day of the 365 days. I am not saying that I did not take my family but each release the people in charge really did not care because they still sold the pins. But at DSF, I finally did hear Teresa ask "how old is the child". So I guess DSF finally has an age minimum?

I would just sit back and see what happens. Who is actually listening to Cast Members when they tell you something? How man times do they hear a rumor from a guest and repeat it to a person who asks? I have never been in a conversation that the Cast Member knew more than the pin collector?

How did the complaining about raising the price from $19.95 to $24.95 go?

I will be there both days but I really don't want to be there for Black Friday at 6 am to get a wristband. :p

The 2 replys' above indicate to me that the release date is Thursday the 22nd.
I think the CM's are just as much victims of a rumor mill as we all are in this case.
 
can we all just not have a thanksgiving this year. can we just celebrate at dland. I rather starve and wait for this sexy pin than stuff myself. just saying. pins are hot and sexy

I would rather be at disney than at home having loads of food I mean the food still gonna be there when I get home!!!
