2019 pin releases
I think if DLR was not so stingy with the HM releases... It would make us all less greedy. You can go days without finding a single non scrapper.
WDW isn't much better after about 10am. Which is why I'm hoping a more consistent influx of new HMs will mean lanyards stay fresher longer.

Considering the backer card for this one, I think it will be a set of 4 teacups :)

Agreed. Can you order the passholder ones at all over the phone or anything ? I might be getting a pass, but won't make it down there each quarter.

Hahaha... that is hysterical. My daughter gave up on me years ago. I did recruit my 76 year old mom this week when I also found 4 HMs on a cast members lanyard. I think the cast member saw right through my charade. I had to point out the Donald Duck pin my mom 'wanted' (the cast member said there was no Donald on the lanyard... it was the shared set HM ice cream Donald.)
LOL. I do the same thing with my wife. “Look dear, they have that pin you wanted. The Dumbo with the large feet. See, it’s on their lanyard on the right, two down from the top. No, not that one, the one below it. Right, that one. Isn’t that the one that you wanted? What? You’re out of pins to trade? Here, you can borrow one of mine. “

I do this with my Dad. Only, in our case he actually DOES want the HM pins. They are for his collection, but he has a hard time picking them out on a lanyard sometimes. He'll look at a CM's and not notice the HM, and then I look and make the trade. Some series are worse than others for picking them out. Now, the bigger problem is that with all the fakes, he'll see a DL HM pin and not realize he already has it (our friend gets our DL pins to trade for us picking up her WDW ones). I'm sure the CM's think that they are all for me, but they are his.

This is BRILLIANT.

However, Bob Iger is now having his Undercover Mice head to Canada to eliminate Brian, while also insisting that the product managers re-check every single SitS jumbo to ensure that this cannot actually happen. ;)

May they could just tone it down a bit. Like you get a free annual pass instead. Or another pin, an LE 1 pin.

Per DPB

Here is a look at the Test Track 20th Anniversary Cast Member Pin! It is limited edition of 600 and the retail price is $14.99.

Man, I thought you guys would be pumped about multiple HM waves. ;P

I’m pumped about all the new waves, my goal is to fill @TheMickeyMouseRules mail box with HM this year. LOL
I did notice the chasers or silver or unfilled what ever we’re calling them have there own number series on the back, 1 of 5 - 5 of 5 vs being included with the rest of the set.

I am definitely beyond pumped!

But I agree with so much of what others have said.

I am concerned about quarterly HM releases.
A. I am already still missing a bunch of 2018 Wave A pins, and half of Wave B
C. Outlets have had fewer cheaper booster packs, so my trading stash is getting a bit thin. This time all they had were marathon pins and some Star Wars stuff, no boosters. And because of B, he doesn't check as often.
For DLR "Wave A"... me too...

I have had really good luck buying traders at Disney outlets in the last 6 months or so... BUT have only been buying pins with the idea of ~100 hidden mickeys being needed each year (between WDW and DLR). So I might still come up short with enough traders to get through for 2019.

So many thoughts here, such as:
2. If they are going to have this many every quarter, I will need to start focusing up and not go for every HM set. Or I guess I could keep going for every set and just have a lot of partials.
Agreed... could need to change to more targeted collecting of hidden mickeys.

Not sure my reciprocal efforts at the 'notoriously stingy with hidden mickey pins DLR' will be up to @Fins4pins challenge... but its on... :)

Finally, part of me will only believe the quarterly releases at DLR when I see it.

Yeah that’s a return to their past ways when they treated all their chasers as their own set. I forget which year it was when their numbers were up to 20.
