I love the catalog this year! Stitch, Moana, and Pepita oh my! The mystery pins are cute enough (not overly excited about the design, but will probably try to collect them.)

Only a week... until Disney takes my money.

Rereading everything, I see they were going with a virtual waiting room that dumps you into a random place in line after reg opens, just like they do with Comic Con. I wish DSF did that with their online releases!

That's what they did with the DEC release last week, so they may be integrating it company wide?

The pins are pretty cute, but I'm happy there are only a few pins I need or really want.:D I will probably offer up some of the pins for pickup.

Of course, now that there's an air of exclusivity (I. E. I paid more so I'm better and my pins will be better because I have access and you don't neenerneener), they may sell quicker.

Because heaven forbid if the same people who always seem to have priority access to so much else, were in the same pool as everyone else for this.

So fine, if Disney wants to continue to prioritize access for the same group of people, over and over again, at the expense of everyone else, including those that have spent a crapload of money with Disney, just not in this specific way, I get the message about how unimportant my dollars are. I also know, how alone I am in this sentiment and that Disney will likely do just fine without my money.

I mean, if they really wanted to go there, they would have made several LE 100 pins for this event, rendering them all to go to the upper tier. I like the idea of reserved tables, because the same people get the same spots every year. This shakes it up. I just wish it would be an open pool for everyone. I like the idea of the partners board, because it's obvious they ran out of older pins to put on boards years ago. I'm pretty sure they took a look at how the DSF and D23 events went and said, "Why not us?" You'll most likely have the same exact experience you've had at all the other events, you just get $5 less on your gift card for the lower tier. And if you wanna spend a extra on the event, you get new experiences.

I converted them to JPGs. Here are the first four with DPF watermarks. I need to watermark with PTDB too.

Given the theme, I was expecting a couple of Cheshire pins, maybe a White Rabbit. Instead, there are two Dinah pins! (And potentially something in the chasers in the mystery set I could need.)

Very happy to see there's nothing lower edition size than LE250 giving more than just the higher package folks the chance to get them.

Wow. I am with all the folks that expressed concern with the second level. I get that's how it's done at other events, but it's never been done that way here and really rubs me the wrong way. They get a ton of folks at these and a ton of money. Do they really need to squeeze more money out of it and create a dual-tier system?

Big...no, huge....no, massive question to me is what the Disney Pin Partners board is all about. I get that it's something other than WDW/DL, but what? DSSH? They need their pins for their own events. DSF? That would be extremely interesting, but are the numbers of pins they would have available enough to cover 4 tabs (and presumably 2 pins for each) time 100? So maybe Shanghai/Tokyo/etc? That seems most likely to me, but not sure how attractive I find that. This has become a far more difficult decision than it was yesterday.

I am really looking forward to the boards this year. I think the Parks released some great pins over the past year which I would love to see on the boards in AP or PP form.

I am so curious to see what the "Disney Pin Partners" boards are like. The curiousity will drive me to at least line up in the waiting room que for the chance for a BiS ticket.

I really like the idea of purchasing additional tabs. Four tabs for $30 is not bad. If you can still trade 2 times at a board with one tab that's 8 pins. People used to purchase the breakfast to gain additional trading time so I think this is on par with that idea. I like to trade on the boards as usually I am trying to find pins to complete Parks released sets.

I do think the "DPP" board will take the spot of a regular line making the other lines longer. I usually like the big boards so I would dislike if they had even fewer of them.

As I was typing the last sentence the Sir Mix-a-lot song popped into my head and made me think of my own version. I like the big boards and I can not lie. You other traders can't deny, lots of pins on a huge board, in my face leaves me floored.

A nice selection of pins but I'm a little disappointed with what I need. I see one Cric-kee (item #2) that can hardly be seen, and one Little Brother @ $325 (item #29). I will definitely be looking to co-op the set if anyone is interested

I'm betting Cric-kee or Little Brother will be in the Mystery Set as chasers. The reveals are.... Kinda lacking, so I'm assuming "the good stuff" will be chasers. Yay and boo! XD

I wonder if there will be any pins of Little Brother in the mystery box set.
