Hey guys! My mother is leader of a girl scout troop, and after cookie sales the girls have earned enough money to go to DLR as a troop! Well, since both my sister and I are into pin trading (and now recently my mom hehehe), my mom thought it was a great idea if we could get the girls some traders too!


So I'm looking for Any type of trade fodder! Hidden Mickeys, Toddlers, Starters, rack pins, whatever you want! We're TRYING to get them for somewhere around $1 each. I know it's low, but with 25 girls, we want to try and get them 2 pins each so they can trade (and if they want more at the park, they can purchase them themselves)

So DPF, since you guys are awesome, I was hoping I could at least get some pins! :D

HEY DPF MEMBERS !!!

I am a bit surprised with how few replies our members left on this thread... Especially with how few people offered up any donations to the troop... I truly commend those of you who actually stepped up, and to the other 95% perhaps a little reminder of that look on a childs face when they recieve something a simple as a couple of our traders to enjoy this hobby we all love. All of us members have extra traders we can donate...

So basically this is a members challenge to step up and donate 5 pins to these kids and help make their experience at our beloved Disneyland Resort an experience they will not forget...

I will gladly donate the following ten lanyards with a pin on each one...

So... I will go tomorrow to buy the 50 pins if you want. Just let me know if you still want to do that! :) THANKS And Goofy_Moe... Are you giving those to the Girl Scouts also?
 
I dont think alot of people saw it, this my first view. How r u doin? I was a boyscout leader for 6 years, i think this is a cool idea! I have some traders i can donate (like for the kindergarden class) let me know cause it looks like you got it covered, but if not PM me!

My "DONATION CHALLENGE" is in addition to anything they have already...

Can you as a trader see yourself with only 2 pins to trade all day long???

I hope they get enough donations from our members such as Poohlady5 who would just like to donate to the cause...

Let's see if they can go with 5 pins each and Lanyards for each child...

All of you are just so awesome ;____; I can't describe how grateful I am! The girl scouts will be so happy to trade!

(though I kind of feel sorry for the poor cast member that gets 25 girls attacking them lol)
 
This is awesome... I knew our members had a heart and would step up...

I was told in a PM they are going on June 26th...

By then we should colletively get them 10 pins each and Lanyards with no doubt...

I am gonna schedule that day in my calander to be at DLR with extra pins, and they can attack my book of traders and us all they want...LOL
 
Yes they'll definitely be there June 26 to trade and have fun (also sending them on the canoes as a troop which i think will be hilarious)

Oh my gosh, you guys really don't have to do all that! This is really so great! We're already planning on how to make thank you cards and everything that day!

(I will definitely lead 'em to the tables for a second haha! Oh man, That little area in frontierland will be packed!)
