These silhouettes are amazing! You are extremely talented and I definitely need to try this one day. Great pin collection as well :)

I hope to have even half as impressive of a displey as you do...someday. lol my goal is to make Ariel's silhouette completely out of little mermaid pins :) you are truly an inspiration.

Thank you everyone for the comments! I just updated the PODM display pictures because the newer pins have now been added.

The Walt PODM frame is mind-blowing, as are all of your others. You have an amazing talent, Erica. Would you be willing to share how you mounted and framed the PODM pins?

I'm using an LED light display. It wasn't cheap and broke twice during shipping before I finally received one in one piece. :( So that was quite the hassle and not a good experience. But I am happy that I finally got one (even though it too was cracked on the corner :( ).

As far as mounting the pins I am using a super secretive adhesived that very very few people know about and it is called............

HOT GLUE! Who woulda thought???

I previously tried some of those sticky tacky dots and while they sort of worked, over time some of the pins were slowly starting to fall. Those only worked if I really loaded the pin up with them and then that caused a problem when trying to remove the pins. The dots would stick too much and leave residue, kind of like when removing a sticker.

So, I tried hot glue thinking it would never work but it did! I also used the hot glue sticks as a base. I cut little pieces about a centimeter long and that is what I stick the posts into. Then I have a bigger surface put put the melted clue on.

Occassionally a pin will fall if I didn't use enough glue but lately I have had no issues with it. And the best part is that when I want to move the pins around (which I always want to do) they pop right off no problem without leaving any residue.

This is unbelievable! I totally LOVE your PODM display.... and the Princess carousels.... you have them ALL! And Jasmine! Congratulations, she is one of my grails and I hope you enjoy her! All your displays are stunning.... bravo! :) *claps*

And there I thought that well organized cork boards looked awesome... This takes it to a whole new level of creativity and expression! I nominate this post as Pin Showroom post of the year.
Bravo & thanks for sharing!

What kind of frames did you use for the pins sets you have around the big Mickey? They have a white background and black frames, they almost look like dry erase boards.

This is gorgeous. I love how you did the Tink and Cinderella, and I also love the way the carousel princesses look in front of the castle. I agree with everyone else who said - You are an artist. :)

They are 8x10 black document frames with foam poster board. They are only a few bucks a piece and you can get them at Wal-Mart or Target.

But I actually took them all down! It is just the Mickey now. I just didn't like the way they looked anymore and with there being more Beloved Tales pins I was running out of room for them and they would have to be redone anyway. So, I packed them all up. Once the series ends (if it ever does) they will probably come back out in some form. ;)

You have the most amazing pin display i've ever seen. That is so epic! Great pins, great display and awesome work on putting everything together. well done.

We've had fall-like weather here the last couple of days and it put me in the Halloween mood so I added my Halloween and characters dressed as other characters collections (minus the ones that are DA Stitches).

Wow this is the most amazing collection and displays I have ever come across! I am in awe of your creativity and your pins. I love how you have what seems like character pins from every single disney movie! LOVE IT!

Your PODM display is brilliant. The PODM scenes are awesome as well.:cheshire: I really like grouping the character "dressed as" pins with Halloween too. Congrats on such an amazing collection.

 totally bowing down to the utter creative amazingness of your collection, beyond that I'm speechless over the display boards you've done .... simply awesome! It just looks like something out of Disney museum or exhibition, its that good!
As for your PODM collection, its just incredible, what a stunning display!

:rock::rock: Your collection rocks!
