Hello all!!! I just want to see if anyone else has the same problems that I have when it comes to pins. They are EVERYWHERE!!! If I could keep the all in the same room, close to the same place, I might know all the pins that I have, but no...not me. We were cleaning out the guest room this week and I found a pin that has been on my want list for some time and I have been sending out trade requests for it a lot lately. It was this pin:

Pin 68867: DSF-Beloved Tales - 101 Dalmations

Needless to say I literally freaked out when I found it and my husband had no idea why I was doing that. Then just now tonight, I was cleaning out a drawer of an end table and I found pins that I have not seen in years and one is an LE 100 Jessica. Really??? So yup...that is for trade. Sometimes, I think I have a pin and then when I can't find it I think oh, maybe I don't actually have that pin and then later I find that pin and it is SO awesome!!! It is just like when you go through old clothes or old purses and find money in them!!! I LOVE that feeling!!! Just had to share!!! Hopefully, I am not the only one that sometimes lets pins take over every room in the house. If a little bit at a time. And I think i am goig to blame the hubby for the pins in the drawer...it is his quick way of cleaning up before someone comes over...he hides things. Wish he would hide an UP Beloved Tales pin. :)

Once in awhile, I open my 3 Haunted Mansion pin bags and look through them just to refresh my memory as to what I have. It's fun to discover what pins I had forgotten about! My pin collections and frame sets are basically only in my living room and bedroom.

I actually went crazy trading for a pin once and realized months later that I had indeed purchased it when it was out. I was completely convinced that I had never bought it haha

Please remember that I have been pin trading for 10 years...that is a long time to accumulate pins enough to take over your house...and if you think I am bad...you should see my dad's house!!! :) SO glad that he is not on this forum and can read my posts. :)

LOL! I have done that. i have some in books some in bags some in a 4 drawer bin, some on foam boards, some in the livingroom and in my office! I have misplaced pins too many times to count. once i had "found" a baggie full of ds.com pins! they had been misplaced in a luggage bag i had used before and i hadnt used it in a year when i found them!

Oh yeah! I've done this many times (unfortunately!) ... I have pins on the walls, in drawers, in pin books, in plastic tubs & boxes, in binders, in bags. I reorganized a bunch of my pins a couple of years back ... and that was the last time I saw my Disney Auction Pirate Stitch pins!! (All LE 100's!!) I've looked and looked and near as I can figure, they Yo Ho, Yo Ho'd their way in to some secret dark alcove of my house, lamo!! Either that or the cats have them stashed some place, lol!

I've recently started going through my pins again and it's kinda of fun as I see pins that I haven't seen in ages ... and several of them are on my wants list, lol! I just need to have a bigger house and LOTS more time to spend on pins ... pin organizing, pin sorting, pin trading, arranging framed pins on the walls ... well most of my walls are already covered but maybe I could go higher? lol! Sorting out duplicate pins and putting them in the "trade" books! Oh to have lots of free time ... and I'm semi-retired! Guess I need to be completely retired?? hahaha!! My collection on PinPics may say I have 1737 pins but the actual figure is more like 5,000+ ... sshhh ... don't tell any one ok? Thanks, lol!!

I find pins EVERYWHERE!!!! Sort of a double edged sword sometimes though... Frustrating that Ive spent time and energy looking for the pin trying to trade... But then like a new present when I find them...

I have the pin trading under the sea pin bag some where, it is lost till I find it, LOL I want to buy another one just so I can be happy knowing I have it again, but I know as soon as I do that I'll find the old one again, lol.

Glad I am not the only one with this problem I still have pins in boxes shipped from friends and in bags from pin events the original bags that is. Thanks for sharing that we are or most of us are in the same boat. Finding and looking thru the pins from the past is a lot of fun to remember what you have.

I just recently got back into pins after a long absence. I realized I needed to do a whole assessment/reorganization after discovering that three of my newly-purchased wants were already in my collection.....

I'm a poor recent college grad still living at home and my mom just told me if my pin collection gets any bigger(and it will lol) it needs to leave the living room and find a new home. So my parents awarded me the task of:
a.)cleaning the extra room downstairs for disney displaying and
b.) cleaning the basement out in order to clean said extra room.
lol i think they did this just to get some free labor, but i get a room to devote to disney and disney pins :D So i'm in the process of moving my collection and cleaning, cleaning, and more cleaning, but managed to find a whole bag of extra pin backs that i must have bought at some point don't remember buying them.

Me and my bf are really bad when it comes to organizing pins. He just recently found 2 DSF Rapunzel and Flynn pins where he is wrapped with Rapunzels hair. Completely forgetting about them and finding them made it an amazing find :)

Pins in every room of my house (boxes, bags, more boxes, more bags, pin cases) :sigh: - there are still 2 boxes of older DLR and DSF pins that I have yet to locate :(

I have the opposite problem... I KNOW I have certain pins somewhere.... Just can't find them! Ugh. I'd love to have your problem. Congrats!
